Paramount Home Media Distribution has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray South Park: The Complete Twenty-Fifth Season (2022). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on April 4th. Unlike the later South Park Blu-ray releases, the season 12 set shares the same number of discs with its respective DVD release (three discs as opposed to two). Also, the set's video resolution is set at 1080i, as opposed to 1080p on all subsequential Blu-ray releases. Includes episodes " Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery", " Spookyfish", " Gnomes", and " Trapper Keeper". Compared to other seasons of South Park, Season Twenty-Four is the shortest and may not quite be the funniest - but it was the most needed in the moment. Manure got kinda crazy there - and is still a little nuts for some folks. When things looked their darkest, The Pandemic Special and South ParQ Vaccination Special gave us all a good reason to stop and laugh at the absurdity. Funny yes, but the longer format never quite came to life the same way a traditional episode might.
