Around 50 people who live there like allowing the wind to blow freely and all admit they are happier without clothes. The biggest survey ever into naturism last year found that 14 per cent of people now describe themselves as naturist – an estimated 6.75 million. Since the beginning, naturism has been a family movement. Because its adherents believed that all of humanity would benefit, it was natural that children should be included. In Germany, a naturist-focused series of schools was even created by Adolf Koch in the early 20th century. (Körperkulturschule Adolf Koch) More recently, a multitude of scholarly research papers in psychology and sociology suggest that children reared in an atmosphere containing family social nudity benefit from the practice. The crowd was mostly older on the weekdays but we did see some younger people on the weekend. One of the residents told us that the crowd is younger during the summer months. Our son was able to play with a few older kids during the stay and he loved the playground. I can't overstate...
