About this deal

Battery life has been great. I wanted to see just how long these would last with my normal several hours per day listening schedule. After the first charge, I used them starting on a Saturday afternoon all the way to the middle of the next Thursday without recharging the case. This was with 4 – 6 hour average per day listening, with extra time where they were in my ears on standby when I needed to concentrate but didn’t want to have to put the earbuds away. I usually charge my earbuds every night so it’s not very often that I would need to go almost a week between full charges but it’s nice to know I could for a camping trip, for a prolonged power outage, or some other time when I just don’t need to think about needing to charge them. Holding the touchpad for 6 seconds puts the earbuds into pairing mode. Not as convenient as having multipoint (which is still few and far in TWS), but it does save the step of disconnecting to my current device. Holding the touchpad for about 10 seconds turns off both earbuds. This proves important, because the earbuds don’t power off in the case if it is depleted. The earbuds power off together but need to be powered on again individually. And in the ANC mode you can expect around six and a half hours. Whatever you look at, these batteries are top notch. Even better, the charging case has enough extra juice for another thirty hours. The inevitable question will be are they as good as the FIIL T1 Pro, Taotronics SoundLiberty 94 and Tronsmart Apollo Bold. Firstly, the ANC is better than the first two, and at least on part with the Tronsmart. The form factor on the FIIL is more suited to sports, and the Soundliberty 94 are more comfortable, but with a poorer microphone quality. The earbuds themselves claim to have up to 10 hours of battery life, though this only pertains to having ANC off. With ANC on, the earbuds last about 6 hours or so. The battery indicator for the earbuds themselves still shows about 90% left after 1-2 hours of use, but drops more abruptly within the last 2 hours or so. Overall, I am still impressed with the battery life but the percentage indicators could be more accurately scaled.

Eventhough the Soundpeats T2 is Bass heavy e arbud i prefer the bass of the Fiil T1 Pro and Fiil’s sound signature which is greater than the T2 Overall, the SOUNDPEATS T2 offers a relaxed midrange sound that never gets harsh nor will ever surprise users with uncomfortably hot peaks..I just got these for exercise use and while the ANC is impressive, the sound quality is horrific. It sounds like ultra compressed SBC with added reverberation and intense distortion. The best description is that it sounds like listening to music through a closed door to a room in which a computer speaker is playing music in the corner - under a blanket. This is truly the worst sounding ear phone experience I’ve ever had.

The front has a lip for easy control of the lid, and three charge lights at the front. Whereas the TrueEngine3se had the lights inside, recent Soundpeats releases have recognised that displaying on the case is far more useful, even upgrading the TrueAir2 to support this with their second iteration (so I am told) REVIEW – I listen to a lot of podcasts. I have a single Bluetooth earbud in one of my ears most of the day. I buy true wireless earbuds so I can keep one in my ear and one charging. This is where a set of Bluetooth earbuds like the SoundPEATS T2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds comes in handy. What is it?

The T2 are Soundpeats' first foray into active noise cancellation, so it was always going to be an interesting analysis as the budget vendors increasingly tiptoe into higher end feature-sets. FOUR STARS - Pleasant warm sound, good call quality and great battery life: if it weren't for the strange sound effects in the otherwise strong active noise cancelling, the SoundPEATS T2 would have been a blast. The bass and the mids are generated from the 8.6mm dynamic driver, solid, punchy, and resonate. where Sondpeats T2 power by 12mm large dynamic driver even though the driver is bigger is Soudnpeats T2 it is still can not compete with the Soundpeats H1The earbuds also feature a passthrough (or transparency) mode to feed the ambient sounds around you into the earbuds. This mode works well, there is a little bit of white noise, and it sounds a tiny bit muffled in comparison to no earbuds at all – but the mode is very usable. Of course, if you don’t want any ANC or passthrough going on, you can use the earbuds in their default normal mode and, I’m pleased to share, regardless of what mode you listen in the sound quality of the earbuds is consistent and remains the same across the board. There is no auto-pause, no button customisation, no app, no alternative latency modes. There is a little more latency than the Sonic, which is more noticeable when gaming. Single mode is initiated simply by leaving one bud in the case. Earfun Free Pro is obvious choice if you are someone working out a lot since their ear wings designs keeps the earbud more firmly than the design of Soundpeats T2.
