About this deal

A: Generally, the preowned product is available in the 27 member countries of the European Union, but 5 of these countries may not support, it Bulgaria, Cyprus, Finland, Malta, and Sweden, please refer to the checkout page. The bridging tests are fine and the overhang only shows signs of struggling at 45º, though it still did achieve it.

It can be overcome simply by switching the printer off when not printing - but sometimes between prints it can be a little tiring.I feel that this one possibly common mistake warrants an additional step to clarify its correct path in the instructions. It's normal for quality to miss issues but for the company to not assume the fault it's unacceptable. And as for Elegoo themselves, I recently had a problem with a resin printer of theirs and their support representatives where extremely helpful and promptly solved my problem (they sent a new motherboard and some resin for the inconvenience) so I have no issues with the brand. If I had to give a single sentence high level summary it would be that it creates great quality prints at a steady, but not fast, pace. Having used the same sensor setup on the Neptune 3 Pro for a little while I now prefer this for several reasons; it reduces complexity of the print head, provides the system with earlier warning of filament run-out, and holds the filament strand whilst unloading/loading the print head preventing it from quickly knotting your spool of nicely pre-wound filament if you inadvertently let the end of the spool go.

Built on the feature set established by the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro, the 'Plus' version brings a larger build volume to the table with many of the features you could want in a desktop 3D FDM printer. The 250 W heating bed quickly heats up to 100 °C and thus allows the printing of various high-temperature plastics. Please ensure your address details are correct as once the parcel is on its way we cannot re-direct it.

This is by far one of our favorite printers and one we can easily recommend as one of the best 3D printers for both beginner and veteran makers. Standard versions of Cura or Prusa Slicer don’t have profiles for any of Elegoo’s printers, but you can use the profile for an Ender 3 Pro and adjust the build volume accordingly. You get a bowden extruder, albeit metal with 2 bondtech gears, and a textured PEI spring steel plate. The ability to change nozzles is welcome and the large touchscreen interface makes for easy control of the machine.

The other neat addition to the Neptune 3 Pro is the LED light bar at the top of the X-axis frame piece; At the same time, this is not always the most forgiving light (straight-down lighting is known to show print defects that are not otherwise visible), it does shine a light on the prints which are very nice to see and something I do miss on other printers that do not have it. I often set-up a Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint to manage my printers and this manages your printer via USB. At normal printing speed (below 70mm/s), in a closed low-noise environment (30 decibels), the measured machine noise is below 50 decibels; when the machine prints at a faster speed, the noise generated is higher than that when printing at a normal speed bigger, which is normal. There really isn’t all that much that I dislike about the Neptune 3 Pro; in fact, It is just about three things, and two of them are pretty small, so let’s get those out of the way first. The PEI coated build plate holds onto prints with the right amount of stick, then releases when cold.Naturally it would feature refinements and improvements across the board, and unsurprisingly the 'Pro' designation highlights additional features to improve reliability, quality and usability. The worst affected here is TPU; whilst the extruder can print 70A TPU as if it was nothing, the TPU itself is quite sticky and grippy, so any extra friction in the system will cause it to grab and stick. At least on my particular unit, they really are not that loud, which is good when printing fast, as the Neptune 3 Pro can, you can keep good quality without burning your eardrums, which is always appreciated.
