About this deal

DURING YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION WITH LOGAN YOU COMPARED HIM TO THE INFAMOUS SERIAL KILL, TED BUNDY. WERE YOU NERVOUS AND THAT'S WHY YOU STARTED RAMBLING ON ABOUT RANDOM STUFF?

The last time Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis was sober at a party was never. Dude drinks like a fish or gets higher than a kite every time he leaves the house, and if you think that affects his performance on the ice in any way, then think again. He’s one of those rare creatures who can party like past-day Robert Downey Jr. and somehow be as successful and revered as present-day Robert Downey Jr. Much like The Deal, The Mistake's biggest strengths are its likable and relatable characters. John Logan and Grace Ivers may be your typical college-age kids but they both have goals, ambitions and life outside "finding the one". I liked that they act like college kids and their struggles and issues fit within that age range. These characters worry about school, they worry about their prospects after college, they worry about their future, etc. Seriously, Grace, don’t stress. You know what they say- haters be hating, and bitches be bitching.”One of the biggest issues I had with this book was the way the author portrayed college life and the character stupidity that resulted because of such a shallow, inaccurate, and offensive portrayal. The Mistake simply doesn’t disappoint. Logan’s story is as engaging, thrilling and sexy as Garrett’s. I am sure that every person who has read and enjoyed The Deal, will love and cherish next part of Off – Campus Series. However, I felt that this one was a little slow to get going...and I just didn't find the conflict here to be as compelling as I would have liked. SPEAKING of hashtags, the only thing that could have been better in the first 85% of this book, would've been if instead of Logan just showing up and making a scene in the dining hall, he'd've taken a selfie and tweeted it, #PipeDownStevens. The premise is cute, and the book definitely is addictive and has some fun moments, but a bunch of small things (and some not small things) ruined it for me.

Over the years since she started writing, Elle’s work has not gone unnoticed, this is clearly evident from the fact that over the years since the release of her debut title, she has won several high profiled awards linked to writing and her other books earning her a fair amount of nominations for other equally prestigious awards. Grace is happy with Logan; she decides she wants to be WITH him...and when all of it comes together...Logan fumbles...he says and does somethings that cause pain for both...It only takes a moment and conversation with a good friend to figure out he effed up big time. Grace is important to him and he wants to fix it... he needs to fix it...she was ranked 1st place in the Golden Rose contemporary for her amazing work in the book titled “Dance of Seduction”. I gave the last book 4 stars. I think Logan's struggle and his commitment to family was really heart wrenching and that is why it was maybe a better read for me. I loved Grace. The girl was smart and cute. She was a bit shy and timid at the beginning but once she caught her wind, she didn't take shit from a bitchy friend or Logan. And when Logan made his mistake, she stomped her feet and made him work for it, though she knew she would be giving him a chance.

If you loved The Deal, I'm almost positive that you'll love The Mistake. I know that I sure as hell did and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book. I'm hoping it will be my manwhoring Dean. If the set-up in this book is what I think it is then his book is sure to be one verra interesting read. Holy shit,” I blurt out. “You shaved the beard.” I glare at Garrett. “Why didn’t you tell me? I would’ve thrown us a party.” I can't believe Elle Kennedy did it again. I applaud you. This was a great second book in the series! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared of maybe being disappointed with this one, which can happen with the second book of a series, but that was SO not the case here. This book was full of steam and humour. I LOVED Logan! How could I not?All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. I broke up with her to avoid getting into a serious relationship with her, and now it turns out that's what I wanted all along.” Logan thought he had feelings for his best-friend girlfriend. So when one night trying to forget about his messed of life he meets Grace, he’s surprised how he can’t push her out of his mind. They start to get closer until one fatal mistake pushes Grace away, making Logan realize too late that whatever feelings he could have before, are nothing compared to what he feels for Grace. But months pass and she wants nothing to do with him. Until they meet again and this time Logan is settled on proving Grace that she’s the girl for him. She only has to believe in him this time.
