The novel is a tad different from usual novels. Generally, an author telling the story in alternative POV does so from the start. Fallon however chooses not to. Instead she writes in alternative POV towards the second half of the novel. I’ve never come across this before yet it seems to work well with this story. Likely it is Fallons stellar writing that continues to make this a seamless and gripping read. As usual it also has a surprising end. Fallons subtle wit is dispersed throughout the novel further adding to the books lure. I'm a big fan of Fallon's twisty, sharp and emotionally intelligent novels, and I'm delighted to report this latest is just as compelling as the rest . . .
