About this deal

It’s compact design makes it easy to take with you wherever you go in your outdoor adventure if camping trips. In any event, my review here is not based on my desire to find a good 76mm reflector - nice as they are; and I have refractors in that range - but to state the facts here on this one, the National Geographic 76/350. Bresser calls it "a perfect entry-level telescope."

Neil English has an enjoyable description of his experiences with an older Orion alt-az 76mm f9, here and here. All-glass optical components with high transmission coatings for enhanced image brightness and clarity of stars and other celestial objects. The Bresser AZ 76/350 Carbon telescope for example is a recommended model for a beginner astronomer. It is compact, very lightweight yet powerful, requires no setup and can easily be carried to any dark rural location by either foot or car.Spotting Scope– A spotting scope is a smaller telescope also designed for terrestrial viewing (land viewing). It is a powerful instrument yet portable and perfect for watching distant subjects on land, at sea or skies. Spotting scopes are commonly used by birdwatchers, hunters, nature observers and amateur astronomers. If you are interested in viewing objects on land or at sea, as well as star gazing, moon watching and astronomy then you should consider a spotting scope. You can refer to our guide on how to choose a spotting scope. I also tried a full range of eyepieces from the two it comes with through other entry-level Huygens, etc., to Ploessls and up the Nagler on the planet Jupiter with the same poor results. However, I did not report it because I granted that being low on the horizon at 4:00 AM Jupiter is a difficult target. However it dies a good job, you just have to take your time finding the right focus. And it is better with lesser bright city lights. Great for budding stargazers, this National Geographic 76/350 Compact Telescope is a must for anyone interested in the world of astronomy. The telescope comes with an adjustable tripod for convenience, and the computerized hand controlallows you to locate and centers then in the eyepiece at the touch of a button.
