Lore is a modern-day town where the Greek gods live their ordinary lives with the commoners. It is also a place where gods have succumbed the day-to-day problems and situations, such as being vulnerable, hurt, running a successful business, being jealous, or being accused of murder. The last one is the one troubling Medusa, and that is where Kyrie Alcide, a young detective, steps in to find out who is framing Medusa for murder. The area is well served by public transport with buses, DLR and an overhead train stations, connecting us to the city of London within 15 minutes. We are also located close to diverse shopping areas, which cater for many cultural needs and tastes.I absolutely loved the concept of the town, the world and especially the Perseus Project (which is kinda like the CSI of mythology). The characters were just quirky enough for my taste and it was a pleasure reading about them. The fast-paced character-driven plot completely hooked me.

Nor did they apply to women who’d been accused of murder. Those rules applied to normal women. Women who got up in the morning, got dressed, and went to work. Women who had boyfriends or girlfriends. Women who didn’t spend their lives trying to pretend like they didn’t exist at all. I loved Kyrie because she's clearly awesome at her job, but her methods are... different.

The bedrooms are all large rooms, many with their own wash hand basins, built-in wardrobes and study area. All are decorated in natural colours and young women can change the colour and decorate their rooms accordingly on moving into the project. The Medusa Project has been a preferred provider for Lewisham Council since the establishment of the Semi-Independence Preferred Provider Framework (PPF) on 1st October 2008.

The plot was very predictable. I was able to guess what was going to happen during the majority of the novel. This left me not guessing why things were going as they were and I got bored easily.

This book is really awesome! I was a bit weary to read it at first because I hadn't read this series in a while (I started with the one on World Book Day, and I haven't actually read the first book yet DX) I agree that things are definately improving, and the last volume should be particularly exciting. The Medusa Project is a new take on the known mythology and transports it into a short and sweet mystery story. The novel takes place in the modern-day town of Lore where the Greek gods from mythology live among us. Although they are still immortal, their powers are not as great as they once were where some have fewer powers and others have none.

We work with young women (gender-inclusive) between the ages of 16-21 with autism and complex emotional needs, who can present with challenging behaviours such as self-harming and suicidal ideation.The writing was captivating and like Lou Wilham's other book I read, it was just so easy to get caught up in the read and thralls of the storyline. making a positive contribution: to the community and to society and not engaging in anti-social or offending behaviour A minimum of 3 years of experience of working with young people who display self-harming behaviours The Medusa Project follows agent Kyrie and Medusa in their plight to clear Medusa for the murders that are taking place and all evidence points to her. Kyrie and Medusa are on the down low to prove her innocence.
