Make sure you get the Sprite Extruder Pro, its a bit more expensive but its full metal and doesn't have bowden tube inside like the normal Sprite :0 I´m new to ideaMaker but i love it. First i have tried it to adjust under Advanced and then Override Filamanet Primary Flowrate. There was nearly no effect. Only that the measurement was going bad.

With the tensioner, you can adjust the pressure exerted on the filament by the drive gears according to your wishes and requirements, thus printing more precise models. The close proximity of the extruder and hot end means that retraction distances can be much less, allowing for easier management of stringing and other print artifacts that result from retraction.As you can see, the Nema17 pancake stepper motor is customized for the Sprite extruder with slots for installing the bearing that keeps the gear aligned. In the images below you can see that the filament path and gears are not correctly aligned, but this is caused by the pressure made by the spring which holds the idler. When the extruder is coupled with the motor, everything lines up correctly. Finally, you are ready to try a test print with the new extruder. Once you’ve configured the e-steps and retraction settings, you can simply find a model, slice it with your slicer software, and print it to ensure everything works properly. You bought a cute little thingy to add to your Ender 3v2, and that's great. Now you have to do a shit ton more of stuff because you found out Creality's promise that it would be a smooth ride was a lie.

I selected the F401 chip and insert the SD card into the board, It doesn’t flash, just boot straight to the normal screen. For the Sprite Pro extruder, you get the aluminum body with a titanium heat break while on the regular extruder you get a plastic body and a PTFE lined heat break. Another thing you may want to change (after troubleshooting) is the PROBING_MARGIN. I measured the range the clips occupied and it was about 2cm, so I left it at that. Choose the Ender 3V2 without a CR Touch and get through the setup so I can hope there is the ability to tell the Sonic Pad (or Klipper) that I have the Sprite Pro and CR TouchIf you tighten it too much, it will deform the filament and the flow rate will suffer. You need to find a good balance between idler tension and filament grip. In the images below you can see how big the filament deformation can be if the idler tensioning screw is too tight. Doesn't by default fit on all Enders. Might need to switch out some bolts on gantry to flatter ones so it can utilize the entire X axis. Had this problem with my Ender 3 Max. They are powered by a stepper motor, similar to the ones that move the print head in the X, Y and Z direction. You’ll often see E as shorthand to refer to the extruder’s stepper motor.
