Honestly, at this point, I thought this was going to go the way of Mission of Love, where all the main characters are trash monsters who, for some reason, fall in love.Lovesick Ellie is a manga that hides a very soft love story, in which the main characters have a hard time showing their true feelings out of embarrassment. Both of them have much character development throughout the manga and they learn to accept themselves for who they are and learn to open up to people without the fear of being judged. Koiwazurai no Ellie (恋わずらいのエリー), also known as Lovesick Ellie is a Shojo manga series written and illustrated by Fujimomo.

When I just started reading I san't too sure I will like it, the whole part with her tweets just seemed dumb and characters personalities didn't look like anything could work out, but then. He's not interesting, she's a hypocrite (for some things she says like other girls like the male lead for his face only) and I don't even want to hate her! Eriko is a socially awkward "invisible" girl who lives out an imaginary dating life with Ohmi, a popular boy in her class, through an anonymous (and anonymized) twitter account. It's cute, fun, but also insanely fast paced at times and hard to really get a feeling on the characters. Honestly, Eriko is a perfect embodiment of myself (minus the twitter account) which I relate to so much!
