But we’re okay with that. You have to expect some compromise at the shallow end of the pool. The question is, are the compromises too obvious? Hisense 55A6BGTUK (55 Inch) 4K UHD Smart TV, with Dolby

The 43A6GTUK delivers native 4K sources with a very respectable level of sharpness and detail, too - enough to appreciate what 4K can bring even to a relatively small 4K screen, especially when it comes to giving images a more three-dimensional look. It’s worth noting the gap between the bottom of the screen and the surface on which the TV stands – it’s plenty big enough for a soundbar. Which, as we shall discover, is all good. Features This EULA constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Hisense with respect to your use of the Device and/or the Smart Services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to your use of the Device and/or the Smart Services. Between the HDMI inputs and the smart TV interface, it’s the work of a moment to get some native 4K content on board. And thanks to set-up menus that are either mercifully brief or frustratingly restricted (depending on your point of view), it won’t be long before you’ve achieved the most pleasing picture balance available. The Hisense 55A6G is a television with a display diagonal of 54.6 inches and a 4K Ultra HD HD type. The LED display technology and flat screen shape provide crisp and clear images, and the native aspect ratio of 16:9 offers an immersive viewing experience. The display resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels delivers excellent detail, and the display brightness of 300 cd/m² allows for comfortable viewing even in bright rooms. The Hisense 55A6BGTUK does not feature QLED ( Quantum Dot LED) technology. QLED displays use quantum dot nanocrystals to enhance color reproduction and brightness. They offer vibrant, accurate colors, high brightness levels, and improved viewing angles. While the Hisense 55A6BGTUK may not have QLED technology, it still provides impressive picture quality with its 4K UHD resolution and HDR support. Ambient Mode We may revise and update this EULA from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes will be posted at your Device or through update with reasonable period before they become effective. They deemed to be accepted by you unless you have notified us of your refusal within the above-mentioned period. In case of refusal you can terminate the EULA with immediate effect. In all other cases the updated EULA applies to all access to and use of the Device and the Smart Services thereafter. It’s unusual to find any departure from the accepted idea of ‘design’ where televisions are concerned, and that goes double when the TV in question is priced as aggressively as the Hisense A6G. So it follows that this TV looks reassuringly like a TV, with no gratuitous design flourishes to be seen.

Hisense A6G 4K HDR TV (55A6G) review | TechRadar

Add to this some decent shadow detail retention in the darkest image corners and you’ve got dark scenes that don’t instantly and distractingly look like some poor relation to bright scenes. This level of consistency is enough in itself to embarrass an uncomfortable number of more expensive TVs. Only a couple of the ‘big 5’ TV brands we mentioned earlier can match this Hisense when it comes to HDR compatibility: the A6G covers HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision – which we can all agree is pretty decent at any money.

It’s worth noting that the Hisense 55A6BGTUK is a 4K UHD TV and does not support 8K resolution. 8K resolution offers an even higher pixel density, resulting in incredibly detailed images. However, as 8K content is still limited and not widely available, most consumers will find the 4K resolution of the Hisense 55A6BGTUK more than sufficient for their viewing needs. HDR Technology Saving the day, however, are rich hues and stunning fine detail. When our dysfunctional crew lands at the UTS Commercial District, this neon city-space-turned-nightclub makes even Blade Runner look staid, despite the absence of any wide colour boost.

Hisense A6BG Support - Hisense UK

Max light output HDR (high dynamic range) while displaying a live scene and white square taking up 10% of the screen (measured in Nits) With a Netflix-derived 4K Dolby Vision stream of Enola Holmes up and running, there are obvious and numerous positives to the way the Hisense goes about its work. Detail levels, for example, are respectably high - and that’s true of even the finest details of texture or skin-tone. There’s very agreeable insight into darker tones, without the rather artificial cast some screens can succumb to when trying to eke out the minutiae from dimly lit scenes. Percentage luminance drop at 20 degree vertical angle from the centre of the screen with 50% white outputThe dark-grey bezel is regulation thin, while two plastic feet splay left and right. You’ll need wide AV furniture to match, but it’s a good screen to wall-mount, tipping the scales at a featherweight 11.3kg.
