About this deal

It shows disqualification under ‘totting-up’ - if the total of penalty points reaches 12 or more within 3 years, the driver can be disqualified. Theft or unauthorised taking Offence codes and penalty points must stay on your driving record for 4 or 11 years depending on the offence. Accident offences HOWEVER, the endorsement is still there for the 11 years and may well possibly affect job prospects if the licence details are viewed. This is very much a grey area of law as an employer cannot discriminate against you for a 'spent' conviction as they have no legal right to know about it. Having seen it on a licence they are supposed to ignore it, but it's difficult to unsee something you have seen!! If you’re a stills photographer, it remains very attractive, but is up against some tough alternatives. Wide-angle fanatics will prefer the Leica DG 8-18mm with its wider coverage, much smaller barrel, narrower filter thread and far lower price. The 8-18mm also suffered from less field curvature than the 10-25mm in my tests and I also have to mention the high price which may initially seem justified for the spec, but is actually roughly similar to a full-frame 16-35mm f2.8 lens, not to mention double that of Sigma’s 18-35mm f1.8 ART for APSC bodies, a model that’s arguably closest in spec. If the job is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, you only have to disclose unspent convictions – even if the employer asks you to disclose spent convictions too.

Codes DR10 to DR61 must stay on a driving record for 11 years from the date of the conviction. Code Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 18mm f11. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 18mm f11. 100% crops from centre Above: Moving into the corners shows the lens becoming a little soft compared to the middle, but close it to f5.6 and it sharpens up nicely and there’s no benefit to closing any further at least in terms of detail.Driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substance affecting or diminishing the mental and physical abilities of a driver I ran into the issue of HGV and drink driving convictions on a drink drive course. The guy said that he had applied to an agency but they had refused on the grounds that he had a dr10 from 7 years ago. Above: Now for the long-end of each lens, and this time I’m showing you the field of view of the Leica 8-18 at 18mm, with the coverage of the Olympus 8-25 at 25mm represented by the outer edge of the red frame. So while 25mm reaches standard coverage, the 18mm stays in wide-angle territory. So by taking you from ultra-wide angle to standard coverage, the Olympus 8-25mm delivers the broadest range of the three lenses here, making it the most flexible, and for many people, a practical general purpose option. They refused to offer him work because their contract required them to only offer up drivers who had a “clean licence”

As the clubman version of the DG-30, the Stilo DG-10 utilizes a single digital circuit to provide superior sound at a more affordable price. It also offers the same advanced noise cancelling technology with three different levels to accommodate the noise of your rally car, enabling vastly improved communications to the driver. A global leader in ocean technologies, iXblue engineers the future of maritime operations. From the surface to the deep sea, we offer a complete range of cutting-edge products and solutions to enhance your operations at sea. Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 18mm f16. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 18mm f16. 100% crops from centreSince October 2020, even multiple offences can be filtered, unless they are not eligible for filtering. Each endorsement has a special code and is given ‘penalty points’ on a scale from 1 to 11. You get more points for more serious offences. I pointed out that if he could prove that he had bees discriminated against because of a spent conviction he could make a complaint, but it could be hard to prove. Above: Moving out to the corner and again the longer focal length of the Leica on the right means I’m showing a different part of the pier, but from roughly the same part of the entire frame. With the Leica wide-open to f1.7, there’s quite obvious darkening in the corners due to vignetting. This mostly disappears by f2.8 and at f4 the lens benefits from a mild boost in corner sharpness. I found it improved more at f5.6, but didn’t benefit if I was focused in the corner rather than the middle. The table shows the offence codes that can be put on your driving record. It also shows how many penalty points you can get for them. Some offences may also involve a disqualification.

It will drop from your licence 11 years from the date of your conviction, so that must be earlier than 2034? Above: Place the Olympus on the left and the Leica 10-25 on the right, both at 25mm and their respective maximum apertures and unsurprisingly the latter is delivering larger blobs at f1.7, albeit almost all of them rendered as ovals until the aperture is closed to f2.8 or smaller. I’d also say the style of the Leica 10-25 blobs isn’t particularly smooth or outline-free here either. Above:…and out into the corners. As you’ll see this lens performs pretty well right out of the gate at f4 across its entire focal range and doesn’t force you to focus in the corners if you want sharp results in the extremes. The 20-50mm equivalent range isn’t replicated anywhere else, taking you from very wide to standard coverage and making it a surprisingly versatile walk-around lens. The minimum focusing distance allows it to grab useful close-ups, but it’s the constant f1.7 focal ratio that makes it really special. The format has meant earlier f2.8 zooms just haven’t delivered the kind of shallow depth-of-field effects that many desire, but there’ll be few complaints at f1.7, which coupled with the attractive rendering and crisp results means it could easily replace a bunch of primes in your bag. Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 18mm f16. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 18mm f16. 100% crops from cornerAbove left: Leica 10-25mm at 10mm f2.8. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 10mm f3.2. 100% crops from centre Above: Moving into the far corner, there’s a minor drop in sharpness, but still respectable quality at the maximum aperture. Closing the aperture gradually to f11 didn’t make any significant difference in this particular test, so the Olympus was performing at its best pretty much out of the gate. I also retested with the focusing area repositioned from the centre to the corner and the results were the same. Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 10mm f2.8. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 10mm f3.2. 100% crops from corner Exceptions to the golden rule – When you might not disclose even if you are askedThis might apply in three particular situations:

Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 18mm f11. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 18mm f11. 100% crops from corner Wilful failure to carry out the obligation placed on driver after being involved in a road accident (hit or run) Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 10mm f5.6. Above right: Leica 8-18mm at 10mm f5.6. 100% crops from centreAbove: In terms of style and controls, the 8-25mm looks like other models in the Olympus Pro series, but actually becomes the first in that range to employ a retracting barrel for a reduced size during transportation. Codes CD40 to CD70 must stay on a driving record for 11 years from the date of the conviction. Code Above left: Leica 10-25mm at 10mm f11.
