I don’t find either peppermint tea or licorice tea to be particularly bitter by themselves and when you combine them together there’s almost no bitterness at all. There is typically a slight bit of bitterness in peppermint tea but when you mix it with the licorice tea the natural sweetness and the licorice flavor really what way any hint of bitterness in this herbal infusion.
