Along with its needed effects, triamcinolone nasal (the active ingredient contained in Nasacort) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention. If the above does not help your condition get better, you should visit your GP for further advice on how to manage your allergy. How To Use Nasacort Nasal Spray Intranasal administration of NASACORT 110 μg once daily in pediatric patients 2 to 5 years of age exhibited similar systemic exposure to that achieved in adult patients at a dose of 220 μg once daily.Any remaining spray must be discarded two months after you first open the bottle, because it may be contaminated with dirt or bacteria. After 2 months of daily use without a prescription in a child, talk to your care team before using it for a longer time. Treatment with higher than recommended doses may result in clinically significant adrenal suppression. If there is evidence of using higher than recommended doses, then additional systemic corticosteroid cover should be considered during periods of stress or elective surgery. Use the medicine as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not use two doses at one time. What happens if I overdose?

The risks associated with sudden discontinuation of corticosteroids after prolonged use may include exacerbation or recurrence of the underlying disease, adrenocortical insufficiency or steroid withdrawal syndrome. However, these effects are extremely rare for nasal corticosteroids, and much less likely to occur with nasal corticosteroids than with oral corticosteroids. The woman : "Outdoor and indoor allergens, can trigger nasal allergy congestion and other symptoms like that." The woman snaps her fingers. The adverse events reported in clinical trials with Nasacort Allergy most commonly involved the mucous membranes of the nose and throat. For children aged 6 to 11 years, the usual dose is one spray in each nostril once a day. If your child's symptoms are very bad your doctor may ask you to use two sprays in each nostril once a day to begin with, and then reduce to one spray once a day when the symptoms have improved. Follow the instructions given by your doctor. You should always use the lowest dose necessary to relieve your child's symptoms. Do not use more than your doctor has prescribed. This nasal spray should not be used continuously for longer than three months in children.

Please note: This spray should not be used every day for longer than three months without consulting a doctor. The spray is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
