About this deal

If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. you have needed to use heartburn or indigestion remedies continuously for two or more weeks to control your symptoms Maalox plus suspension and tablets both contain three active ingredients, aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and simeticone.

Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, before using any medicine. Maalox plus suspension contains sorbitol and should not be taken by people with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance. Aluminium hydroxide is not well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, and systemic effects are therefore rare in patients with normal renal function. However, excessive doses or long-term use, or even normal doses in patients with low-phosphorus diets may lead to phosphate depletion (due to aluminium-phosphate binding) accompanied by increased bone resorption and hypercalciuria with the risk of osteomalacia. Medical advice is recommended in case of long-term use or in patients at risk of phosphate depletion. Maalox Plus tablets should not be taken at the same time as other medicines. This is because Maalox Plus Tablets can affect the way other medicines work. If Maalox Plus Tablets are taken within one hour of any other medicine, they can affect the uptake of that medicine into the blood.
