About this deal

Since I'm really dissatisfied with the current versions of creed, it went off to the rabbit hole ... I could compare it to an aventus from 2017 and the birch note is nicely replicated here. In my humble nose I would certify similarity to 89% In the opening gibts here no fruit. One knows otherwise pineapple or the like, but here we start very citrusy and herbaceous. This works immensely refreshing.

The sandalwood "ignites" quite late and basically provides a soft drydown when vetiver and lavender slowly dim over the hours. The combination with the mossy, woody-earthy components ultimately makes him a whole gentleman. With matching silage and shelf life of around 7-8 hours. As for the performance, here I think it is going well. It is powerful, especially at the start. Gaudy. I think that much more than the "Aventus" itself and even the unbearable (for my taste) "Club de Nuit Intense", which is the one that has reminded me the most, for that squeaky look. In the cardboard, although it has lost strength, I still smell it 24 hours later. From the ingredients you certainly do not get smart, so many herbs, plants, etc. The first spray reveals the secret! I see it far below, both in quality and in distinction, or creativity, of releases such as "Loewe 7" or its "Anonymous" flanker. With much less elaboration and nuances than these, apart from that we are talking about a copy of other perfumes that have been in the market for some time.So we have a citrusy herbaceous opening. Spice comes right in and creates an adult feeling. No fragrance for teens. After 1-2 hours we have a great and very aventus similar sillage developed. Sophisticated and masculine. No need to describe individual fragrance notes here. The mixture is super - nothing that disturbs.

Yes, it was the bottle that somehow drew my attention. To Selfridge's new Esencia. I wore the "old" Esencia EdT quite often in my first summer at Parfumo. Then somehow too rare. So the fragrance first got into the past and then out of my collection. Green he was. A little edgy. Own and therefore very good. No, it is a clear statement of how fragrances are developed today. Esencia Eau de Parfum is clearly the even evening version of the classic. Which is quieter. Collected. And yet very powerful. The top note (as is so often the case when increasing the concentration of perfume oil) almost completely fades out and enters directly into the fragrance theme. The Eau de Parfum has, in short, only remotely something in common with the green EdT. It enters directly into a very vivid lavender note and creates with some vetitver green (and its minimal bitterness) a signature directly. In fact it has a more serious touch than e.g. Floris' 1976, which also uses this combination as a basis for citrus and wood. Nevertheless, the Esencia EdP remains fresh and yet somewhat muted. Adult. The combination of just a few fragrance components is simply wonderful for this fragrance. He doesn't play great through pyramid (which he doesn't have) or pushes ISO E Super or Ambroxan out of the base for sheer helplessness (and deliberate mass suitability). The Leo is a bit peculiar after all, so I felt it was almost too herbaceous for me and had a "ham" note. However, this association only came about in comparison with much sweeter fragrances and is probably more of an irritation.
