About this deal

This means the mid-lengths and ends hold onto a curl really well, but the roots have a tendency to fall flat. Ok, I'm not going to lie, I was a tad skeptical of this automatic curl machine (surely it's easier to just use a wand, right?

The subtle wave lasted only a couple of hours in my fine, straight hair (even with a lot of hairspray). Temperature: There are two heat settings of 210°C and 230°C, and three timer settings which hold the hair in the curl chamber for different amounts of time, meaning you can tailor the settings to your hair type. It heats up incredibly quickly and the skinny, rectangular barrel curls each section of hair in a mere seconds. The weird-shaped barrel gives a beautiful soft wave to the hair, the wider middle means that the mid-lengths have a soft curl, whilst the ends pull in a little tighter.Only put your wand away when the barrel is cool and keep the plug away from the plates as this can cause scratches. If you want to use a CLOUD NINE product internationally, all you have to do is use a UK to EU or US adaptor.

With heat settings ranging from 100-200°C for styling at lower temperatures without the unnecessary heat damage. It takes a little while to get to grips with how it works, but once you figure it out it actually makes curling the hair really easy. The main difference between The Sericite Curling Wand and The Waving Wand is the barrel, which can help you achieve different results. It comes with a little glove too, in case your hair feels too hot, or if you just want to be extra careful.

Staying power: Saying that, I loved the finished look, and my soft waves stayed for most of the day.Selected lines only, determined by size, weight or whether delivered direct from one of our suppliers. Temperature: Dyson's genius heat control measures airflow temperature over 40 times a second, to ensure it stays under 150°C to prevent serious heat damage. So the Wide Iron has Variable Temperature Control from 100°C to 200°C and The Curling Wand offers temperatures from 125°C to 175°C.

If you’re still wondering which curling wand is best suited to your hair type, explore our full comparison of all of our Wands and look at our handy Wand Comparison Page. I’ve also put together a YouTube tutorial below- which whilst I’m onto it, if you haven’t already, subscribe here and you can be one of the first to join my vlogging journey! Whether you’re looking for a curling wand for thick hair, short locks, or lengthy tresses, there's something to suit everyone's style preference. This has three interchangeable wands that can be attached to the base, a tapered cone, a large barrel, and a medium-sized barrel (that I used for the picture). No more awkward arms trying to hold bits of loose hair in the clamp, and no more corkscrew style curls due to the wand be that little too narrow.

Created with Kinder Styling Technology for healthier, stronger, shinier hair every time you style your client’s hair. Once the Iron is switched on the green light will start flashing and will illuminate on 150°C when it’s ready to use. Waves look clean and defined after curling, but you can opt for a dishevelled finish by running your fingers through the lengths and giving strands a blast with some texture spray. It tends to be straight and down on a daily basis, which tells you one main thing: I’m useless with styling my hair.
