You can expect the Hawaii to take 12 to 24 hours to heat cold water to 40°C. If your inflatable hot tub has a lid or cover on, this will speed up the process. If you use your Lay-Z-Spa regularly, say 3 or more times per week, keeping your heater activated and set to the temperature you like is the most cost-effective way of running your hot tub and will save energy in the long run.
