these two have some super cute moments and hella hot ones too. There is obviously chemistry there from the start. I just felt the way it was written it seemed like it all happened over a week or two. I'm totally smitten with both the lead characters 🤌 This book was such a swoon worthy read for me. Zac is the boyfriend we all are manifesting for 🫶 and Mina is that sunshine character who brings loads of energy and excitement 💕 Their chemistry definitely increases the temperature and sets your heart on fire ❤‍🔥. The way they support each other and talk out things are goals 💘

I don’t usually skip books but for this one I skipped the first book because I saw a tiktok about it. This book was alright, didn’t feel as though there wasn’t anything special about it. It was just a plain-o spicy book. I have a personal preference where I don’t prefer books that are insta-lust unless i’m in need of getting out of a reading slump, so personally I think if the book was more slow paced and the characters had more development I would have enjoyed this book 10x better. I received an ARC of this book at no cost and am voluntarily leaving a review. This book was one of my favorite reads the author really has a beautiful way to draw the audience in. This had the best grumpy meets sunshine story, I was able to sit and focus on this book without getting distracted and the writing was good, so the book was strong enough in that regard. I know for sure that it could've been way better which is why I'll probably give her books another chance (if she has other books, I'm honestly not sure).

I cringed so bad while reading any detail about the gang stuff. Like, I guess it's a good idea but if you're gonna write it, write it properly. Zac is a broadway star who is going through a messy divorce, which is affecting his career and leaving him damn near penny-less (HA penny 😆) < his ex wife. girl what the hell 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the pace of this book threw me off & honestly the whole divorce factor would have worked much better if it was a year long relationship. no one moves on that fast from 13 years bruh. i felt like the bubbly personality was a little reinforced at times & icl the whole book could have gone without connor, the roommate sort of romance & hannah. there were a lot of factors that made the book more confusing if anything bcs they just didn’t line up or match the general vibe of the book; what is it w romcom writers and gangs ?1?2?4??2! they always start off so sweet & lovey dovey then BAM‼️ a gang, the mafia, or a stalker decides to show up. there are ways to create a rift between the mc’s without creating plot points THAT MAKE NO SENSE 🗣️🗣️ ngl i saw a insta reel abt this book & finished it in literally less than an hour. it wasn’t a waste of time bcs it all goes to my end or year goal for 150 Formatele ePUB securizat (secure ePUB) si PDF securizat (secure PDF) sunt compatibile cu dispozitivele care permit instalarea Adobe Digital Editions; The smut scenes had me fanning myself because of how hot it is❤️‍🔥🫣Spice/ smut scenes rate it 4.5/5🌶️

I received and ARC of this book in exchange for a review. And I feel kinda bad that this is gonna be the first GR review of this. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I found the beginning didn’t flow as well as I would have liked, it felt a little disconnected and hard to follow. I also found that I absolutely hated Adrian for what he did to her in high school and she forgave him to easily as well as them both having a bit of a toxic outlook on making each other jealous instead of actually communicating with each other. (This one is the second in the series) The whole book just seems so rushed. They fell in love way too fast, I don't know if it's the writing but the whole thing seems like it happened all in one week. The writing was also just meh, I've read worse but I've also read way better. I mean at least the spice is good?💀

This movie lets its stars be true partners in crime Skyla Summers' writing style is easy to read and very well organized. She's given us a great story of Zac and Mina. Adrian Hunter was one of my favorite book boyfriends of all time, but now Zac Delavin may have taken his spot. Lol I can’t wait for the third book from Skyla Summers. She is just an amazing author and her writing is great and it’s easy to read and enjoyable all the way around! And I'm definitely not hating on the book for no reason, I'm just giving a honest review and I honestly feel bad cause I sounded mean the whole time.

But when it comes to what we’re trying to do at Vox, there are a couple reasons that we can't rely only on ads and subscriptions to keep the lights on. Fake dating is the have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too of romantic tropes. It grants audiences all the satisfaction of seeing the central couple in an established, domestic relationship, but it doesn’t deflate the will they/won’t they tension because you are always waiting for the two fake lovers to realize that they’re actually really in love. It’s a trope that lends itself equally well to both fluff and angst. I feel like it was written in such a rush because the explanation for them “hating” each other when they were young was shit and the miscommunication was so unrealistic and was kind of just skipped over like an afterthought.
