The best aspect of working with this case is that there's an exceptional amount of room around the motherboard tray for getting the board into place. Corsair even left a few inches open above the board to make adding a water cooler easy; there's more vertical clearance than in almost any other chassis of this size I've worked with. I built my new 3700X PC a few weeks ago around a 4000X as well in white. RGB lighting is controlled by a preinstalled Corsair Lighting Node Core with six slots. The first three are already configured for the included RGB fans. Cable management benefits from cable trays with Velcro straps, cable glands, and a plastic shield that helps to hide cable runs.

The two rainbow effects & setting a static colour (my preferred effect) work fine (see included picture), but anything requiring a sequence don't work properly as there's no way to arrange the fan sequences correctly in the iCue app. Given the SP RGB Elite is not for sale at this time, there's no great news lol. With the drive cage in its starting position in the middle of the case, however, adding a power supply is nearly impossible. For this build, I used SilverStone's fully modular ST75F-PT power supply, and ran into trouble almost immediately. Without moving the cage, I could fit the power supply without any cables attached to it into position, but the space between the PSU and cage was too cramped for me to then add cables to the PSU. VERTICAL GPU MOUNT READY- With included vertical PCIe slots and a screw mount for a CORSAIR PCI-Express 3.0 extension cable (sold separately) you can show off your GPU and keep it secure at the same time. The side panels are both screwed on and a little fidgety to remove, but not exceedingly so. As with the top panel, I'm inclined to believe this is for the best, as it helps to reduce the chance of the panels accidentally falling off on their own. The case comes cradled in two expanded polyethylene foam supports, which is surrounded by a bag to help keep it clean and protected. This brings us to the next problem: wiring. The metal lip I mentioned earlier wasn't designed for cables to pass through it; instead, it's meant to allow air to pass through from the fans mounted on the right side of the case. The lip is fairly short, though, and it partially hangs over the cable cutouts on the right side of the motherboard. This gets in the way of passing cables through—especially large cables like the 24-pin main motherboard power feed. It also makes connecting cables to right-angle headers on the board more difficult. After finally finding a review on mmorpg that installed a LL120 as exhaust, I can confirm that other fan types won't work. It didn't even light up period. The side panel is a large tempered and tinted glass panel, adhered to a metal frame for mounting. It is held on by four loops that catch hooks on the case, and two thumb screws on the other end. The tint is very dark, hiding the contents well until any lighting is turned on inside! Inside the main compartment of the case is the motherboard mounting tray and a raised lip, which isn't for cables as you might think (more on this later). There are cutouts all along the motherboard tray to let cables pass through where needed, which helps make for a tidy finished build. The front of the Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB is tempered glass held with four pins similar to cabinet latches: users just pull on the panel and they will release. It takes a bit of effort to pull the panel loose, but this method makes it easy to clean the removable dust filter for the front fans. The filter has a pull tab at the top and is held in place by a couple rare earth magnets, while the bottom is held in place by two tabs that allow the filter to swing and then lift out. Removing the filter allows it to be rinsed clean, and is necessary for any work being done on the front fans. Users install their power supply by gently sliding it into place. I would recommend modular power supplies be set up beforehand, as the space is tight to work in once installed.
