About this deal

The best aspect of working with this case is that there's an exceptional amount of room around the motherboard tray for getting the board into place. Corsair even left a few inches open above the board to make adding a water cooler easy; there's more vertical clearance than in almost any other chassis of this size I've worked with. TEMPERED GLASS SIDE AND FRONT PANELS - Show off your components and RGB lighting, with dedicated front ventilation channels for ample airflow. The X-Seed 4000 was a concept for a megatall skyscraper. [1] Its proposed 4-kilometre (2.5mi) height, 6-kilometre-wide (3.7mi) sea-base, and 800-floor capacity could accommodate 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants. This structure would have been composed of over 3,000,000 tons of steel. Just thought I'd add my own experiences to this thread. I built my new 3700X PC a few weeks ago around a 4000X as well in white. RGB lighting is controlled by a preinstalled Corsair Lighting Node Core with six slots. The first three are already configured for the included RGB fans. Cable management benefits from cable trays with Velcro straps, cable glands, and a plastic shield that helps to hide cable runs.

POWERFUL DIRECTED AIRFLOW- Equipped with three CORSAIR 120mm fans featuring AirGuide technology with anti-vortex vanes to concentrate airflow and enhance cooling. It was designed for Tokyo, Japan, by the Taisei Corporation in 1995 as a futuristic environment combining ultra-modern and technological living and interaction with wildlife and nature. [2] [3] Methods of transportation within the X-seed would most likely include Maglev trains. The X-Seed 4000 was projected to be twice the height of the Shimizu Mega-City Pyramid at 2,004 metres (6,575ft). The Shimizu Mega-City Pyramid (also planned for Tokyo, Japan) faces most of the same problems as the X-Seed. Other projects that, if built, could be in the top five human-made structures are the Ultima Tower of 3,218 metres (10,558ft) in San Francisco, Dubai City Tower of 2,400 metres (7,900ft) and the Bionic Tower of 1,228 metres (4,029ft) in either Hong Kong or Shanghai.

Excuse the cable mess around the Wraith cooler. I'll be cable managing properly once I get the H100i :) Contemplating on getting some sleeved cables too. Georges Binder, managing director of Buildings & Data, a firm which compiles data banks on buildings worldwide, said the X-Seed 4000 "is never meant to be built . . . The purpose of the plan was to earn some recognition for the firm, and it worked." [4] Note if you're worried about my current specs, this will be for a rebuild with upgrade to zen3. I already have LPX RAM ready so the top mount should fit fine. The iCUE 4000-series comes equipped with the iCUE Lightning Node Core smart control module, but it does have one fatal flaw. The module only seems to recognize fans within one product family. This is great news if you have other SP RGB Elite fans." Show off your components and RGB lighting, with dedicated front ventilation channels for ample airflow.

The two rainbow effects & setting a static colour (my preferred effect) work fine (see included picture), but anything requiring a sequence don't work properly as there's no way to arrange the fan sequences correctly in the iCue app. Given the SP RGB Elite is not for sale at this time, there's no great news lol. The question remains - will the SP120 RGB Pro work? The iCUE 4000X RGB has removable storage consisting of two 2.5in drive trays, and a 3.5in drive bay with trays for two 3.5in or 2.5in drives. All six fan mounting locations can take 120mm-width radiators, while the front and top fan bays can take up to two 140mm-width fans and up to 280mm radiators. Using a 280mm radiator in the top will limit your RAM choices to Corsair Vengeance LPX or similar profiles.Powered by Ampere—NVIDIA’s 2nd gen RTX architecture, It’s built with enhanced RT Cores and Tensor Cores, new streaming multiprocessors, and superfast G6X memory for an amazing gaming experience. With the drive cage in its starting position in the middle of the case, however, adding a power supply is nearly impossible. For this build, I used SilverStone's fully modular ST75F-PT power supply, and ran into trouble almost immediately. Without moving the cage, I could fit the power supply without any cables attached to it into position, but the space between the PSU and cage was too cramped for me to then add cables to the PSU. VERTICAL GPU MOUNT READY- With included vertical PCIe slots and a screw mount for a CORSAIR PCI-Express 3.0 extension cable (sold separately) you can show off your GPU and keep it secure at the same time. The side panels are both screwed on and a little fidgety to remove, but not exceedingly so. As with the top panel, I'm inclined to believe this is for the best, as it helps to reduce the chance of the panels accidentally falling off on their own. The case comes cradled in two expanded polyethylene foam supports, which is surrounded by a bag to help keep it clean and protected. For accessories we have a user manual that was sitting in the bottom of the box, and the hardware and cable management accessories that are stored in one of the 3.5in drive bays. This brings us to the next problem: wiring. The metal lip I mentioned earlier wasn't designed for cables to pass through it; instead, it's meant to allow air to pass through from the fans mounted on the right side of the case. The lip is fairly short, though, and it partially hangs over the cable cutouts on the right side of the motherboard. This gets in the way of passing cables through—especially large cables like the 24-pin main motherboard power feed. It also makes connecting cables to right-angle headers on the board more difficult. Naturally, as there are cables passing through right in front of this lip as well, this is going to restrict airflow from the fans.A sea-based location and a Mount Fuji shape were some of this building's other major design features—Mount Fuji itself is 3,776 metres (12,388ft) high, making it 224 metres (735ft) shorter than the X-Seed 4000. As beautiful to look at as it is easy to build in, the 4000X RGB tempered glass merges elegance with innovation - the perfect starting point for a world-class build. This AWD Corsair 4000X PC has been specifically designed to provide the performance point into the most graphically demanding games.

After finally finding a review on mmorpg that installed a LL120 as exhaust, I can confirm that other fan types won't work. It didn't even light up period. The side panel is a large tempered and tinted glass panel, adhered to a metal frame for mounting. It is held on by four loops that catch hooks on the case, and two thumb screws on the other end. The tint is very dark, hiding the contents well until any lighting is turned on inside! Inside the main compartment of the case is the motherboard mounting tray and a raised lip, which isn't for cables as you might think (more on this later). There are cutouts all along the motherboard tray to let cables pass through where needed, which helps make for a tidy finished build. Designed for a wide range of biopharmaceutical research like lipid nanoparticles, microfluidic mixing, and lab-on-chip flow control in drug formulation applications; with an all-glass touch screen and precision machined metal design, the Fusion 4000-X dual-channel syringe pump is easy to clean, for lab and GMP environments. With a CPU boost speed of 4.6GHz and the brand-new Nvidia RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6X graphics card at the heart of the system, you won't miss a beat of the action, of space behind the motherboard for all of your cables, making a clean-looking build easier than ever. The CORSAIR iCUE 4000X RGB is a distinctive and customizable tempered glass mid-tower ATX case with easy cable management and exceptional cooling, with three included CORSAIR AirGuide RGB fans. The front of the Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB is tempered glass held with four pins similar to cabinet latches: users just pull on the panel and they will release. It takes a bit of effort to pull the panel loose, but this method makes it easy to clean the removable dust filter for the front fans. The filter has a pull tab at the top and is held in place by a couple rare earth magnets, while the bottom is held in place by two tabs that allow the filter to swing and then lift out. Removing the filter allows it to be rinsed clean, and is necessary for any work being done on the front fans. Users install their power supply by gently sliding it into place. I would recommend modular power supplies be set up beforehand, as the space is tight to work in once installed. With the 3.5in HDD cage installed, users are limited to a maximum of 180mm in length for their power supply. Removing this cage allows PSUs measuring up to 220mm.
