About this deal

The staff gave us some great recommendations to continue our road trip later in the day and were very apologetic when miscalculating our bill. An honest mistake i'm sure. We were staying at the White Sands Village condo just across the street. This cute little beach made it easy for sunset viewing, body surfing, swimming, or just plain people watching.

A beautifully illustrated picture book, with a delightful poem to go with it. I enjoyed the way the pictures and poems alternate between the daytime, realistic beach and the beach of the imagination, full of adventure and magic and the odd smuggler. The menu, although not overloaded offers something for everyone we feel from a great selection of fish to the best Mousakka I have ever tasted anywhere on Kos. Indeed, last year I made it my mission to sample this Greek Classic in every restaurant we went to, and this one came out top, time and time again.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough and makes for a nice break from the sun during lunchtime. Even if we didn’t use the beach though we would make the journey down the cliff from the main road to eat there. It is that good! A word of caution tho, the road down is rough in places so drive carefully. Magic Beach, now twenty years old, is her stand out book in my view, and I'm pretty sure it's never been out of print. It's a delightful book to read aloud for the rhythm, flow and lyrical prose. You could not go wrong buying this book for a child or else sharing it with your own. I have not read it in a while but remember many parts by heart, the sign of a well written book! The ending is especially lovely, with peaceful children asleep in a huge old bed, after great adventures. I recently stayed at a hotel in Ayia Napa for a couple of days and I had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect as it was just a short 10-minute walk to Nissi Beach. The food at the hotel was delicious, especially the fish dishes. The pool and bar area were very appealing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Another highlight was the private parking right next to the entrance door, which was a great convenience. the hotel offered great value for money with its superb location and quality. MAGIC BEACH consists of 15 verses; all but the last are coupled verses. The first verse of each pair describes seashore activities in which the child characters are engaged. Simos magic beach hotel apts exceeded my expectations. loved the beautiful terrace, pools, and friendly staff. perfect for a family holiday. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with close proximity to beaches, shops, bars. The staff is always kind, helpful, and smiling. The area in front of the hotel with palm trees, green lawn, and sunbeds is very nice and comfortable. There is a nice promenade in front of the hotel, offering easy access to beaches and a pleasant walk towards Ayia Napa port and center. The staff on arrival was fantastic, offering a warm welcome and even preparing our room with a bottle of wine for our honeymoon. The room rate is great value for money, at only €50 per night. The pool and sea view are the best features of the hotel.

Magic Beach is the best book. I love it. I love the prose, I love the pictures. It reminds me of Dunsborough Beach.A Bordo Gastrolounge located on the Poniente beach, presents the perfect combination of aroma and Mediterranean flavour, where you can enjoy typical dishes such as arroz a banda with a good local wine. Project-specific support provided by Screen Australia's development programs since the agency's inception in July 2008. Production support Great view of the pool and sea. The outdoor areas were well kept. Delicious breakfast was included. I like several of Alison Lester's books. If you like this one I also recommend Imagine and Journey Home. We came across this place by chance having been recommended a day trip to Magic Beach. We turned up for lunch and were warmly greeted by the staff and given a table with a fantastic view of the bay.
