AUNTIE VIOLET BEAUFORT loves driving through Sylvania in the ice cream van. Her favourite part of Sylvania is the beach at Sea Breeze Cape. On a hot sunny summers day you can often see Vincent and Violet parked by the palm trees, selling their delicious flavours to all the beach goers. And as the evening draws in, they like ending their day with a meal in the seaside restaurant. Julia Polaris is a gentle girl who loves knitting. Once autumn is here Vincent likes to spend the time relaxing and planning new flavours for the following summer. Valentine Beaufort might hate ice cream but he does love ice skating, and wants to be a famous ice skater when he is older. He goes to the Sylvanian ice rink every weekend with his sister Verity and they glide together around the ice pretending to be Torvill and Dean. Verity Beaufort wants to be a famous figure skater just like her brother. She would love to be in the Winter Olympics and win a gold medal for Sylvania. She practises far more than Valentine, but she just can’t master a proper spin without getting dizzy and sometimes falling over.

BABY SISTER BETH POLARIS is always eating, especially ice cream! She dreams of becoming an ice cream stand owner, just like Vincent & Violet Beaufort. She likes snuggling in her bed with her favourite pink blanket that her big sister knitted for her and she treasures the vanilla white scarf her sister Julia knitted for her!
