In August 2020, Nestlé launched a limited-edition variant of Munchies featuring a white chocolate shell. Square pieces of dark chocolate filled with refreshing mint fondant, each small piece makes a perfect little After Eight treat. Refreshingly minty, After Eight Bites make the perfect treat using the same iconic minty taste as the original After Eight mint however as a bitesize, treat version. They look just like regular Munchies, but consist of dark chocolate with a mint fondant centre – and no crunchie bit. However, being somewhat more restrained, I managed to limit myself to a single packet rather than her… er… 7 packs.In March 2023, as a part of their "Golden Collection" of chocolates, Nestlé released "Munchies Gold" made with Caramac chocolate. NA rights and specific trade dress to all packaged coffee and other products under the Starbucks brand owned by Nestlé since 2019. In 1995 the confectionery formerly known as "Mintola" (near-identical in appearance to Munchies, but consisting of plain chocolate with a mint fondant centre) was renamed "Mint Munchies".
