About this deal

A lot of children will probably still get enjoyment out of this, but it isn’t David Walliams at his best. This book certainly adds some excitement to reading and might engage even the most reluctant of reluctant readers. A girl who likes telling jokes goes to a school for extremely bad kids, the school is on an active volcano and I’m not sure how the book got published, as there is so much child abuse and so much illegal stuff. They are annoying, rude, and mean but there is a worthy lesson to be imbibed from the exciting adventure this book takes you on.

He took up swimming in his youth because he was overweight, and has subsequently completed long distance swims of the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and the River Thames, raising millions of pounds for charity! When Larker is sent to the school for pulling a prank, she quickly realises something very odd is going on .

His tenth novel, BAD DAD, was an immediate number one, following the triumph of THE MIDNIGHT GANG, the biggest-selling children's book of 2016. Young readers get to read a wonderful book that is a little bit rude, a whole lot of fun, and totally addictive.

Okay, I'm going to be kind with this one, I'm an adult reading a book intended for young kids and the one thing which irritated me is probably entertaining for children. This book had everything one expects from a David Walliams book; a fantastic story, wonderful characters, and a great message for young readers.

All of the kids except ‘larker’ get turned in to monsters, one was a slug, one was an amoeba, one was a jellyfish and so on. It's set in a fantastical world that Walliams is great at inventing and filling with a menagerie of characters. The stories themselves are always well thought out and spark the imagination, and David Walliams does create unique characters and brings each of them to life. It's a fast paced book and the illustrations within the pages help flesh out the story in the readers minds eye. We follow Larker who finds herself sent to Cruel School as a punishment and her adventures within it.They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. Het meisje Larker wordt vanwege haar flauwe grappen en stoute gedrag naar de allerergste school die je maar kan bedenken gestuurd: The Cruel School. This story is about a girl that meets like a monster and then they have a lot of adventures together but the problem is that it is lie illegal for her to have the monster because it is dangerous so the story is about the girl and the adventures of the monster but also how she tries the monster to be friends with people so that she can demonstrate that the monster is not dangerous.
