About this deal

So whilst the average person in the street incorrectly assumes that the most powerful binoculars must be the best, this is far from the case and the best magnification almost always depends on your particular requirements: Viewing Distances & Image Detail

You wear glasses:The eye relief on these binos isn't the best, so if you wear glasses, there are better options. I bought these to replace aged Nikons, and they are so much better. Very compact and easy to use with much better light gathering than I could have expected. These are for a Christmas present but I’ve had a sneaky look through them myself and they seem great. I looked down the garden and could see the spots on the ladybirds painted on my bird feeders out on the tree! That was amazing. Anyway, I hope my son likes them. Really small so can be taken and used anywhere.

Best binoculars for horse racing and other sports:Sports tend to happen during the day, so a bright objective lens is less of a concern. Something like an 8x30 will hit the spot, as the 8x magnification should be plenty to see what's going on from the stand. There's no point getting something big and heavy if you don't need it! Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s, unless incorrect or faulty. So we have established that the binocular numbers provide the magnification and the size of the objective lenses on a bino. The surface area of the objective lenses can be calculated, which determines how much light is captured by those particular objective lenses. We'd opt for the Celestron UpClose G2 10x25 over the similar UpClose G2 8x21 due to their better twilight factor, at 15.8 instead of 13.0, which means the higher powered (and larger objective) pair gives better low-light results — much better for stargazing. If you can afford to pay a little more for the best compact binoculars, consider the Minox X-Lite 8x26 — they are considerably more affordable than the company's alternative X-Active range but still boast high performance and excellent build quality. The X-Lite range is versatile and perfect for all outdoor activities, whether hiking, traveling, bird watching, or stargazing. These optics are the go-to for all your needs.

Bought as a present for my wife who loves her bird watching, she absolutely loves these lightweight compact binoculars. A great buy thanks Key Features: Rubber armoured & fully waterproof BAK 4 Prisms Multicoated optics Twist down eyecups for spectacle wearersIf you are looking for the best optical quality binoculars that are also lightweight for carrying long distances, and that let you see your observations from a far distance, these are possibly the best compact binoculars you can buy to date.
