S.J Tilly is an American romance and contemporary author. Most of her time, she is either reading or writing. S.J loves playing with her dogs and working in the garden. Her novels include the Sin, Sleet, and Darling series. Then we have Meghan, I had so much hope for her book because I really loved her personality from the book 1 and 2. She was strong, feisty, no nonsense woman, and a loving friend in the previous books. But in her own story she went from a likeable character to a freaking weak, doormat, and lust driven FMC.The structure of this book is weird in that the start and end of chapters seems to have nothing to do with time frame? They seemed designed so every chapter ends on a snappy saying or a pretend ‘what will happen?’ rather than then we are moving someplace else in time and space, but there isn’t any consistency so it ends up being more difficult to follow because of it.

Great to see the man’s side of being nervous in a developing relationship Sebastian took his head out of his ass around 87% of the book. But the last 13% will never be enough for me to rate this higher than 2 stars. In all honesty, I didn't give a crap anymore as to what will happen to the two of them. I'm beyond frustrated with them and they were unlikeable and annoying characters. Vincent didn’t take long before realizing he could have something special with Sasha since she’s the kindest and sweetest being he has met. Sasha has a lot of compassion and love for people; you can’t help but love her. However, soon Vincent’s past comes haunting him when his ex-brother-in-law shows up, threatening both Sasha and Annie. Will Sasha’s love be enough to save him?

I LOVED that Katelyn had the Sunday brunch with the girls, Meghan, Steph and Izzy and that they were all so supportive of one another.

Fate took almost everything from me, but at least I still had my brother, and Saint, my best friend and hopeless crush. His voice also comes across robotic. As I’m reading, I can hear the monotone in my head, and that just doesn’t work for me.
