About this deal

With terrestrial viewing, they provide bright and crisp views. While there is some CA when looking at things with bright edges, general viewing wasn’t affected in any way. I plan to take them to my local nature reserve to test them out on some wild life as well.

Since each side is individually focused, every time a different person uses them they have to refocus both sides and so can be a bit of a pain if you are using them with others. For example, sat out together at night when camping. One thing that attracts me about Oberwerk, from my research, is that they give special attention to collimation, I just must find a way to bringing them to where I am. This is my review based on my experience over the past few years as an amateur astronomer which I hope will be useful to you.

FEATURES

I began the selection of 20×80 binoculars with these binoculars from Celestron whose quality-price ratio is very good. They are easy to use and this bypasses the problem that can sometimes happen when they get a first telescope and that they find it too hard and get discouraged and give up. With terrestrial viewing, they provide bright and crisp views. While there is some CA when looking at things with bright edges, general viewing wasn’t affected in any way. I plan to take them to my local nature reserve to test them out on some wild life as well. I am also a bit of a plane fan, and when time permits I park up near East Midlands Airport to watch the aircraft coming and going – these will be great for that, set up on my tripod for easy viewing!

foot (51 meters) Aspect Width at 1,000 yards (914 m): Another way to visualize field of view: Wider might be better for close, long-tail comets.Orion GiantView 16 x 80 ED. ED glasses and 4 degree FOV with 80mm is worth considering. I expect to see bright nebulas and clusters, some galaxies, planetary is not priority, for that I will get a telescope later on. The focus wheel has sufficient grip and can be operated smoothly and precisely with plenty of room for fine-tuning adjustment where necessary. The right eye diopter is adjustable as on many pairs of binoculars for accurate eye focusing between lenses, but it should be noted that the slightly larger SkyMaster 25x100mm binoculars have individual eyepiece focus adjustment. Objective lens caps hang off the end when not in use but can be easily slipped off for long-term use. Eyepiece caps hold firm and have a flexible rubber connection linking the two which makes it harder to lose them. And as for the 80 that is mentioned you have to know that it is related to the size of the type of objective lens, being in this case of 80 mm; a very large aperture that will allow you to enjoy a very sharp and defined image, as the aperture is so wide the entrance of light will be a lot and very good. What Is the Price of 20×80 Binoculars?

The only real adjustment you need to make is focusing with the central dial. This is just a matter of looking through and then turning this until the views are clear and sharp as you can get them. Note that each eye can be focused separately which is a useful feature. I highly recommend the SkyMaster Pros and have been thoroughly impressed with my observations since using them, and the general experience that comes with using such equipment. As an additional convenience, the 80mm SkyMaster models also include an integral super rigid photo tripod adapter which is fully balance adjustable. The SkyMaster Series binoculars are built to provide years of magnificent views of the world around you and the heavens above. Celestron has designed and engineered the larger SkyMaster models to meet the special demands of extended astronomical or terrestrial viewing sessions. This model provides an ideal 4mm exit pupil to allow your eyes to make use of all the available incoming light in all conditions. Every Orion telescope or binocular set comes with superb, clearly written documentation. This one is no different. It's a single sheet (two sides) describing how to set up and use the 20x80s, along with their smaller siblings in the line 20x70s and 15x70s. Even if you know nothing about binocular astronomy, this literature will get you up and running and enjoying the sky. It will, of course, also tell you how to care for your Orions. There's a particularly good section of how to avoid fog — and mold — in your 20x80s' superior optics.

News & Reviews

Come on! with this marvel you will be able to do what you like the most, which is to be able to observe from a distance but feeling it very close. Higher aperture means better quality views in terms of brightness and clarity and is very important to consider when buying astronomy binoculars or a telescope. Was considering 20 x 80 or 15 x 70 Oberwerk LW, but they do not ship to my country. 3.2 degrees FOV of the 20 x 80s is narrow in my opinion. Or should I reconsider ?? I read somewhere that the eyecups of the Deluxes are not very comfortable, what are your thoughts? The 20x80 Deluxe would stretch my budget ever further, will have to think about it, but have learned from more research that the build and greater weight of binos is very important for keeping them safe and reducing the risk of getting out of collimation. Cheaper– Generally, a good pair of binoculars is less expensive than a good telescope. This makes them a less risky investment for someone just starting out in the hobby.
