Versatile Application: Offers broad-spectrum control for surface, equipment, skin, and aerial disinfection. Use a dilution of 1:100 or 1.3 oz. Virkon™ S per gallon of clean water. Use a dilution of 1:50 or 2.6 oz. per gallon of clean water if surfaces that are to be treated have not been pre-cleaned with water to remove organic deposits. Not approved in California for use at 1:50 dilution on surfaces that have not been pre-cleaned with water to remove organic deposits. Using a stiff bristled hand brush, remove as much organic matter as possible from the boots remembering to pay particular attention to the sole. To estimate the total surface area to be disinfected, including walls and ceilings, multiply the total floor area by 2.5. Surface Area PESTICIDE STORAGE: For pails, jugs, bottles: Store in a cool dry place in tightly closed container. Keep out of reach of children. Always replace lid after use. Retain desiccant canister with product during storage. Do not mix this product with other chemicals.

Treat existing algae and slime-contaminated surfaces with a 1:100 dilution of Virkon™ S. Once diluted in a 1% solution, Virkon® is of low toxicity, non-tainting, and non-irritant. Because of its high detergency and mode of action, Virkon® can be used in an exceptional variety of situations for effective cleaning and virucidal disinfection in a single operation. Virkon® can be applied manually or through all types of cleaning and spraying equipment.

Virkon Aquatic doesn't contain harmful detergents, so has little impact on the environment, unlike some disinfectants which are known to cause health problems in fish.
