This is an unstructured mess from beginning to end. It is fanfiction in the worst ways conceivable - characters are thrown around and played with in ways thay feel self-indulgent while also being completely stupid. The writing isn't very good either, I just kept getting lost in whatever a sentence was trying to say and there's only so much that I can blame on translators (and iirc, it was translated by ppl who've also been doing a decent job with Part 8, i know manga and novels are different but still). Meaningful Name: Joji Joestar, because ”jōji” is one of the names for the kanji iteration mark (々), which signalizes repeating the previous character while not in itself being / looking like the same character. They also have a predisposition for having supernatural abilities. The family's earlier members can count among them a high number of Ripple users, but Joseph was their final representative. Afterwards, each of the main Joestars become Stand users, all blessed with powerful Stand abilities. One last side note before we move on, there are a lotta fake spoilers out there for this book. For example, apparently some people think there’s a part where Pucci gets pregnant? Yeah, that didn’t happen. Maybe the fan translator just cut every sentence referencing that little tidbit, but somehow I doubt it.

This plan was done for a two-fold reason of killing off La Squadra and to personally kill Trish due to her being a blood relative and sharing his genes, thus giving any of his enemies a clue to his identity. Bruno Bucciarati: Bucciarati initially saw Trish as a way to get closer to the Boss. When he assists her in the elevator at the San Giorgio Maggiore church, he reassures her nervousness and thus Trish begins to trust him more. Throughout their journey to discovering the Boss's true identity, he sees her grow out of her shell and admires her determination to fight against her father. When Doppio feigns to be Trish, subsequently fooling Bucciarati, the latter offers Trish a small estate in the suburbs of Neapolis and utters that she has a right to peace and happiness.
