To make matters worse, in the editing process, Danny Boyle purposely degraded the picture even further, leaving only the film's denouement untouched (and the only portion actually shot on celluloid, for that matter). The first ten minutes of this 24-minute featurettes is more documentary on viruses and the chances of a bug wiping out mankind. The outcome of the infection has many of the same qualities as a zombie outbreak, but these are not reanimated corpses.
