It will struggle in extreme low contrast conditions but I think most lenses would have a hard time in low contrast anyway. Both axial and lateral chromatic aberrations are absolutely negligible, the latter being hard to spot even at the corners of the frame. On an MFT camera you are are effectively losing about two f-stops in this respect compared to the classic full format. is a small, fast, 'normal' prime for Micro Four Thirds cameras, that bears a distinct family resemblance to Olympus's much-loved 45mm F1. The colors are insanely accurate right out of the camera and if you process them more in Adobe Lightroom 5 you’ll deliver something even better. I've been trying to decide which lens to take when going on holiday, and I want to travel light, but while carrying the PL 15 is ideal, it's too limiting for me, and Oly 12-40mm is just a tad bulky.
