About this deal

If what you are looking for are good quality filters that do not negatively affect your image and that are very comfortable to transport and use, I would definitely buy magnetic ones. Carrying the squares is sometimes a nuisance and the threaded ones are much more uncomfortable for me, in addition to the risk of them falling off, I am a bit of a hand and it has already happened to me several times with the threaded ones. With these at the moment no problem and very happy. B+W’s HTC (High Transmission Circular) glass is claimed to result in minimal light loss of 1-1.5 stops, and we found this to be spot-on. Optical quality is also first-class, as we couldn't detect any color cast, plus the filter has no effect on lens sharpness. The polariser filter can be rotated once attached to the filter thread to achieve the desired polarisation effect. The circular polarizer helps cameras accurately meter light in the scene. It also reduces the effects of a mirror on your camera. Circular polarizers twist. This lets you gradually modify the light waves. You can reduce some reflections while leaving others. Less impressive is the MRC Nano coating, however, which is supposed to resist water and fingerprints, but barely beads water away better than a budget filter. It does at least help with filter cleaning, as water can be wiped away quite easily.

There are two types of polarizers—linear and circular. The name does not have to do with the shape of the filter. Both are often round. The name has to do with the shape of the light hitting your sensor. B+W’s premium XS-Pro circular polarizers come in a huge range of thread diameters to suit lenses from tiny Micro Four Thirds optics through to beefy large aperture super-teles. A cheaper ‘F-Pro’ range is also available, but at the time of writing, the price difference isn’t vast. A Polariser filter has three important attributes that contribute towards an image. The first attribute is that a polariser will remove any glare in the image that can be caused by light reflecting off an object, like water or glass. I love using filters, the polarizing filter in forests or on the coast I find it essential, also when there is hard light, when there are low moving clouds and in rivers, waterfalls and coasts I love using the ND filter. In situations where I don't require the polarizing filter or ND filter, I like to use Ultraviolet to protect the lens. Diving into the world of Hoya filters can be confusing. The company has a wide range of circular polarizers. But they also market some filters under different names only in the USA. Similar filters can vary in features.Since the HD glass is so tough, it can be made thinner and therefore weigh less. The 77mm Hoya HD polarizer weighs 32.7g, while the superb Nikon 77mm Polarizer weighs 35.4g. The Nikon does have a slightly thinner 4.88mm mount, but hey, this lighter filter is what Glenn was banging on the counter. Try that with a Nikon. Ultra-thin frame design, which can effectively prevent vignetting when using a wide-angle lens. The frame is processed by CNC, and the appearance is full of layers. The use is quite easy, you simply have to place the thread adapter and place the filter in it, as it is magnetic it immediately catches it and from there it does not move, if I want to change the filter it is as simple as removing it and putting it on, you can see the video where I record the simple process.

Sizes: 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm for each color. (These links go to the HD polarizers, this link gets you to all sizes of UV.Premium Quality Glass】The Polarizing Filter made of best Germany optical glass with almost zero light distortion. Featured with top level of filter function, effectively eliminate harmful reflective light. These are so easy to use and the quality is fantastic - both the build quality and the picture quality. I can't see any colour cast whatsoever from both the CPL & ND filter. I think you would really need to pixel peep to see any sharpness difference, and even then I'm not sure there is. One of the most frustrating aspects of owning several lenses is that, unless you've stumbled into a fantastic fluke, they'll likely be different filter thread diameters. However, that doesn't mean that you have to invest in a polarizer several times over to fit your different pieces of glass! Buy one to fit your lens with the largest filter thread diameter, and then use step-up rings to mount it to the others. Sorted! Marumi offers a slightly confusing four distinct ranges of circular polarizers, each with different glass/coating combinations. The DHG Super range gets a water and oil-repellent coating, which works well, easily beading away droplets and resisting fingerprints, albeit not quite as well as the Lee Polariser. Germany HD Optical Glass】16 layers double-side coating with almost zero light distortion. Also effectively reduce filter surface reflection and ghosting while making the filter anti-scratch, water repellent, oil and dust resistant.
