About this deal

It read like the miserable journal entries of a girl lost in an unhospitable environment with a gorgeous guy who blows hot and cold.

I'm addicted to witty, vampire romance and Lynsay Sands has surprised me more than once. But this one failed on all counts. The Hero(s): Tomasso - he was captured by some ruffians that work for the Doctor whom he and the Enforcers that work for Lucien have been searching for. The doctor is basically a mad scientist who is determined to learn the secrets of the immortals and use them to his advantage. The Doctor has hold up on an island near Venezuela where he keeps his immortal ‘subjects’ that he experiments on. A commentator says that the term ' thousand ' must be taken in an indefinite sense, i.e. a timeless time, and interprets it to mean that one moment of enlightenment under Allah's light is better than thousands of months or the year of animal life, and such a moment converts the night of darkness into a period of spiritual glory. You will soon find yourself hooked with its fresh fantasies as you keep enveloping in darkness and learn how to claim ascendancy over the weaklings. The major highlight throughout is the thrill and horror of combating wild creates of the night. Not being able to anticipate the numerous possibilities of this vampire game makes this the finest of its kind. You've got choice either to choose to be a bountiful vampire or a powerful wolfman. Allah did not give me a better one than her. She was the mother of my children and the light of the house. She believed in me when others denied me. She supported me with her wealth when people deprived me. I had my children through her, but l was deprived of having them from others (wives). 2I won't be describing their romance because I can't. These two never came to life and their romance was as flat as cardboard. I've read all the previous books in this series and have adored them, Immortal Nights and the previous book, Runaway Vampire, just didn't seem get me like the other books in the Argeneau and Rouge Hunter series. Which is a shame as I loved the Notte twins when they have appeared as secondary characters in other books.

Hence, dear Muslims we must strive to keep fresh the memory of these great events which shaped our history and laid firm the foundations of the Almighty's last revelation to mankind, Islam. Immortal Nights, the latest release in the Argeneau series was delightful, funny but very silly at times. Out of all the books I have read from this author, this one was the most unrealistic of them all. I really liked the plot and the characters were fun and we do get to see more of Tomasso's brother and his lifemate Mary and more fun times with Lucien. Oh that man, he is so hilarious especially when he is trying to be so stern and doesn't get away with it. I love seeing him in later books and the way his lifemate and other women in his family work him. Quite entertaining. Now the actual romance between Tomasso and Abigail was lighthearted but felt a bit too fluffy for me. I wasn't able to quite feel it like I normally do until the very end which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting quite a bit from this book. Their relationship felt a bit too rushed, most of the story line felt too rushed in my opinion. I did like the sense of danger and adventure that is added in here with a unique setting too. That was definitely the highlight of the story for me, was seeing these characters in a place this author hasn't done before. And the villains even though they aren't good people didn't feel so "bad" more like just they had a "dumb" type of mentality but not the sort of villain you would be at the edge of your seat reading though. So even though I liked this book and would recommend it to fans of this series, its not a story I would necessarily put on my shelves.

Night of Immorality, 배덕의 밤

I received this ARC copy of Immortal Nights from Harper Collins - Avon in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication September 20, 2016. But the greatest tragedy in fasting Ramadhan is the martyrdom of lmam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a), the Prophet's loyal cousin, husband of his dear daughter Fatima, and his valiant standard bearer who single-handedly won many a crucial battle. Imam Ali's (‘a) peerless personality ranks second only to Prophet Muhammad (s), and books galore on his wise sayings, heroic deeds, praises and other excellent qualities. So I took a break from Sands and now I'm 5 books behind with another being published in September. Hopefully, I'll be ready for that one. Jet shows up, having spent the last week desperately searching for Abigail like a real hero and gets kind of pissed that Abigail is happily loving it up with Tomasso in a luxury resort as if she hasn’t given Jet a second thought. Then Abigail makes him feel super guilty for thinking that since she almost died of the Dengue fever, even though she totally DID forget Jet for most of the book and had been berating herself for doing so.

He then purged that pinnacle of monotheism, the Holy Kaaba, of the filth of idols with Imam Ali (‘a) personally dismantling the deities atop the holy house. Bilal the Abyssinian then called the faithful to prayer. The same year on 2nd Ramadhan the history of faith and righteousness took a new turn when a few hundred Muslims defeated a vastly superior force of Meccan pagans at a place called Badr. It was the first armed encounter the new found Islamic State had to face and by the Grace of the Almighty, it came out with flying colours.man’s life, because the world sprang from darkness, she might be called a boundary to the universe, and of course, she demarcates a man’s day. Agamemnon cries out to Zeus, "Let not the sun go down and disappear into darkness until I have hurled headlong the castle of Priam blazing..." (II, 413) He feels he must accomplish his objective in one day. That daily sense of urgency is carried over into the Greek concept of a lifespan. The mortal’s time on earth is short; he must achieve as much glory as possible within that time if he is to be remembered after death. That urgency, combined with a newfound sense of the futility of man’s efforts when the end is inevitable, drives Achilles mad. In his great speech to the convoy sent to him by Agamemnon, he betrays his frustration with the confinement he now sees in an attitude he once unquestioningly accepted. Again, Immortal Nights was fun, as usual. Lynsay Sands doesn’t know how to write a “dull moment” into a story. She’s always keeping it light and fun until she has to bring some seriousness into the story. Then, that’s even a little bit funny as well. She writes characters that are interesting, intense and good-natured … that all have a “light” side to them and have a wonderful sense of humor. As I said, I am not sure where she is bringing the next installment of the Argeneau’s but it looks like it may be a bit more serious than Immortal Nights. I’m looking forward to see if she can surprise me and still keep me as entertained as she has throughout this whole series. As I mentioned above, I really enjoy this author. I've kept up with her historicals and usually her paranormals too. For me, Sands is a comfort read. One of those authors that can start reading and get right into the story. I love that about her. I enjoyed it and actually got through it in 2 days... so it didn't drag but there was nothing new either. Oh, and she leaves us with a cliffhanger epilogue that really is the over arc of chasing the "new" bad guy. Not nice to try to reel us in and really it doesn't do it as you really don't care for the ho hum bad guy plot. So just good, not one of her better ones. Eunseol, who had wandered the battlefield living as a juvenile soldier, sets foot in the family as the daughter-in-law of Baek Empire's Imperial General, Ki Haewoon. No one expected to learn the truth that Baekwoon, the eldest son of Haewoon, has already become married. In addition, Haewoon declares that he will make her unborn child, who also doesn't exist yet, as the successor. And on a bright moonlit night, he came to visit her place!
