With any balloon arch, you are going to be blowing up a LOT of balloons. My kit had 96 balloons total, and they filled up a 16 foot length of balloon tape. So if you are wanting a 16 ft arch, you will need that many balloons. If you want a smaller arch, you will need less. A balloon arch frame will help keep your balloon arch steady and give it a nice, clean look. The other two methods, using either fishing line or balloon tape, are best for making balloon arch garlands. And you’re done! Now that the balloon garland has been made, you can hang it up to create a balloon arch without a stand. These look great for indoor parties like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties. The second type comes from the brand Ladybug. It's 25 ft long and has smaller and larger holes.The smaller holes are for 3″ to 9″ balloons, the larger ones for 9″ to 18″ balloons.
You likely won’t need both balloon tape and fishing line – instead, you can choose one or the other, depending on the method you want to use. Using a power drill, drill holes where your screws will go. Pre-drilling the holes for your screws will help them stay secure better.Drop your piece of 24” long pre-cut electrical conduit into the 8” metal pipe. The metal pipe should be ¾” wide and the electrical conduit should be ½” wide, so the electrical conduit will slip right into the metal pipe. (Be sure that the ends of the electrical conduit have been taped with duct tape prior to handling to prevent injury). You can insert accessories like foliage, flowers, or even ribbons across the length of your balloon arch. This will make your balloon arch arrangement appear beautiful and more professional-looking. For small or one-off projects, a manual double-action hand operated balloon pump is adequate. A manual balloon inflator may be required if you have to set up your balloon arrangement outdoors or away from an electrical outlet. Be careful with this step, if you do it too forcefully, the balloon can pop. It’s really not that hard tho! Just go nice and gentle and easy.Some designs require additional accessories to recreate your masterpiece, take note of this so you can remember to get them for your project. Document the designs you like, this will help you later when its time to create your own. Choose the specific designs you are leaning towards and save them separately. When you’ve gathered the supplies above, you can get started on your balloon arch with the steps below: Line up your floor flange again, then lay down a washer on top of each hole, then screw in each of your plywood screws.
