About this deal

If you want to go all-out, a cathedral-length veil makes the most dramatic of entrances. Think cascading swathes of airy tulle sweeping up the aisle To determine your size range, we take your bust, under bust, waist and hip measurements and compare these against our Size Range Chart below, to make your gown.

And what shade? If possible, you should aim for the exact shade of your dress or go up a shade lighter. It's always hard to decide which style to go for when choosing your wedding veil. Start by considering the length… Shorter wedding veils like birdcages and waist length veils, tend to lend a bit more personality as well as an informal, retro edge to your bridal look. Or lean more in the way of tradition with a flowing chapel length veil or dramatic cathedral veil for a show-stopping entrance. If you’re going long, make sure the veil is longer than your dress. Finding a style that complements the overall silhouette is critical. We recommend wearing seamless underwear that matches your skin tone. If you need help to determine which bra style/shapewear you'd like to wear our Online Stylists would love to help you. Where are GRACE gowns made? Here at Lace & Favour HQ, we think there is something so romantic about the reveal at the end of the aisle, when a bride’s veil is raised by her father (or other loved one) when they reach the altar. This timeless tradition always gives us goosebumps and is usually the point in the ceremony when the tears start flowing, both from guests and the bride and groom themselves! If you’ve always dreamed of this tradition on your big day, then look no further than our gorgeous selection of two tier veils. If that’s too much, a chapel-length veil has a flowing train and is a classic choice if you’re having a formal wedding in a church Our mission is to make it super easy for our brides to find their perfect wedding veil. Either by choosing from our 100+ pre-designed styles or creating your own veil with our brilliant and interactive Custom Veil Designer. Or if you really want to create something “wow”, get in touch with our head designer, Lynsey, to discuss a truly bespoke piece.

At Lace & Favour, we have a wide range of wedding veils available, including lace veils, satin edge veils, beaded and embellished veils. Many of our handcrafted veils can also be customised to your bespoke requirements to put your own touch on your chosen piece. The charm of a wedding veil is undeniable, adding both romance and grace to your ceremony. Wedding veils are the most iconic bridal accessory, and as your big day is the only occasion you’re ever going to wear one, make your choice of wedding veil the crowning glory to your ensemble. With more designs available than ever before, you will need to choose carefully to ensure your veil both enhances and complements your gown. Ready to Wear gowns are priced higher than Standard gowns as they're available for immediate shipment.

As a general rule, if your dress is heavily embellished your wedding veil should be simple with clean lines, as you don’t want to take away from the detail on the dress. A more simple gown allows you to be a bit more adventurous, but make sure the embellishments complement the style and colour of your dress – for instance, a glamorous sequined veil would feel out of place next to a romantic lace gown embroidered with tiny pearls. Over the years since our company began, we’ve definitely seen a few bridal accessory trends come and go. Here’s our take on the current favourites. Wedding Veils

The reason this process works is because our fabrics are very forgiving due to the stretch or bias elements in the design. Wedding veils with crystals continue to be a popular choice with brides who want a more subtle sparkle than wedding veils with diamantes. Diamante veils being the sparkliest veil type of them all. What dresses will suit a beaded veil? For our other accessories… Well, you can never go wrong with a touch of “something blue” in your garter. For wedding jewellery; less is always more, and a simple pendant is definitely being favoured over chunkier designs. As for bridal belts, again, we’re finding brides are wearing the smaller, narrower designs more than larger pieces. Choosing the right wedding veil colour for your dress couldn’t be easier. Just opt for the exact shade of your gown or a shade lighter You will need to supply your measurements 6 months before your wedding date as this is when your goes into production. In terms of colour, you might have already guessed that the ivory shades reign supreme as that’s what 90% of today’s wedding dresses are. Particularly for us, our Light Ivory illusion tulle and Pale Ivory Italian tulle — which are our two bestselling shades — followed by Diamond white (an off-white shade) and Ivory Shimmer. We don’t see as much call for pure White or the deeper colours like Oyster, Blush Pink or Champagne. The wedding veil cost is dependent on the length, materials and trims, complexity of design, and the veil designer. If you’d like a custom option, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss ideas and provide a quote.Every Grace Loves Lace dress undergoes intensive design processes to ensure the fit, feel and balance of each dress is absolutely perfect. Therefore, we do not offer customisations, unless stated. What if I lose/gain weight? Chapel length bridal veils are perhaps one of the most popular wedding veils, particularly single tier styles which are a beautifully romantic choice for modern day brides. Most chapel length veils will extend past the train of your wedding dress for a floor sweeping effect as they fan out behind you when you glide down the aisle. If your dress is already sparkly, you can go one of two ways with the veil. Keep the veil plain and let the dress do all the talking, or tie in a subtly sparkly veil, maybe with just a light scatter of diamantes, to keep to the theme you've already got going. All brides have their own comfort level when it comes to the amount of bling they enjoy, but with our three standard beading layouts you can adjust that level from a light scatter to catch the light, to full-on “falling stars” for maximum sparkle! Do you make custom beaded veils? The number of wedding veil styles can feel intimidating at first glance. From the cathedral length veil and chapel length veil, to the elbow length veil and shorter styles… where to begin? Here’s a little guidance for inspiration.
