I understand a previous comment which described a displeasure of the English accents portrayed here, I dont hate them but do prefer Jonathan Cole's version of Max's accent from earlier and later books in any case. Beautiful Player is the third book in the Beautiful Bastard series and the first one I have read by Christina Lauren.I was just lowkey annoyed at Hanna and Will and how they couldn't solve their conflict, because they didn't talk to each other. I, unfortunately, am the oldest sibling but when I was younger I had always wished I had an older brother who would bring his hot friends over so that I could just drool all day over them. Summary: When Hanna's older brother tells her to contact his friend Will Sumner to get her out of the house and lab he accidentally sets the scene for Will Sumner and his sister to finally find love.

However, when she brings him to a party, they decide showing is better than telling and that's the first they start getting to know each others bodies, let's say. Hanna was a complete goof and was such a lovable character, even though she needed to get out of her own head most of the time. The pair first met writing fanfiction in 2009, under the names tby789 (The Office) and LolaShoes (My Yes, My No) and launched their partnership with their popular collaboration, A Little Crazy. There was no run on sentences and everything was described just right, i hate when authors over describe or stay on one topic for far too long. She is a very intelligent woman and looks at everything from an intellectual point of view which means it is nothing for her to bring up porn over a drink at the bar.

I know that just reading alone would not have given the characters such life if the just existed in my heD. From what I can gather about the Beautiful Bastard series this isn’t completely the case but Beautiful Player is the first book where hunky player Will Sumner is the focus. Will was Jenson's college best-friend and spent tons of time with Hanna's family when she was growing up. What follows is how Will, a no-strings-attached player, becomes her "teacher" in the world of dating, sex and love.
