It accommodates a lot of fans and absolutely does not get in the way of airflow. The mesh structure allows the air to flow well and looks really good to boot in our eyes. Lian Li O11 Air Mini supports a motherboard up to E-ATX, however it is much more interesting when you work with a smaller Micro-ATX as that allows you to open up the top of the case for cooling hardware.
By now, you’ve probably gathered that the O11D Mini and the new O11 Air Mini are almost entirely different cases. They’re based on the same base principles, but externally and internally they are surprisingly different. Additionally, This is also where the PSU and storage are concealed. The main chamber will display your best components and this case makes cable management a breeze.Clearance for High-Performance CPU Cooler and ATX PSU Although O11 Air Mini is a compact case, it provides up to 167mm height CPU clearance, allowing users to mount their performance CPU cooler in the system. The O11 AIR MINI is ideal for air cooling builds, as it has enough clearance for up to 170mm for larger tower coolers. The power supply is mounted in the Lian Li O11 Air Mini as usual with four screws. Well thought-out by Lian Li: The power supply is slightly elevated and does not rest on the floor. This gives you the opportunity to neatly run cables underneath and thus reach the lower slots on the motherboard. Similar openings are also found on the upper edge. In the HDD/SSD case, the disks can be stored in two holders with the included screws. Once screwed tight, they can be put into the case. Practical test I definitely like the look and size of this one. While I like my old (and still current) case, this one would allow me to move my newly built system from my existing floor standing ATX mid tower and place it into this one on top of my desk. No more dog hair getting into my filters. it also fits my DRP4 and a full sized ATX PSU, which is most excellent. The price is reasonable, too. To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel Core i9-11900K, Palit RTX 3080 10GB and an SSD. This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the Lian Li O11 Air Mini‘s cooling capabilities.

Make sure that your motherboard BIOS is the latest version. If not, recommend to update to the latest version. If you haven’t spotted it yet, I’ve made a mistake in my build process. Although the 240mm radiator fits, with the fans, entirely into the side slot in the main chamber without colliding with the included intake fans, this is not the best way to mount it as it wouldn’t effectively exhaust the air out the side, instead warming up the secondary chamber.
