About this deal

In one of the latest chapters, the manga blossoms from a meta-textual shot at the romance genre into a vulnerable and heartfelt moment between two characters in just a few pages. Created, written, and drawn by mangaka Aka Akasak, the Kaguya-sama manga ( Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is a slice of life manga that pits two proud and brilliant, but socially inept, teenagers against one another. Our characters are equally flawed, sometimes problematic, always adorable, likable, subtly different but also eerily similar. Maki advises Yu on asking Tsubame out, but her perception is distorted by her own situation with Nagisa and Tsubasa.

As August transitions into September, Miyuki Shirogane’s birthday looms ever closer, leaving Kaguya Shinomiya in a serious predicament as to how to celebrate it. There was some foreshadowing in the final chapter of Kaguya-sama, though, and Akasaka promised it is setting up something else. Instead, the confession comes along with a request: Shirogane wants Kaguya to apply to Stanford with him. After Yu, Miyuki, and Miko talk about a comic having a live-action adaptation, Miko confiscates Yu's manga magazine and they fight.

To help Kaguya's emotional embarrassment over being with Miyuki, Ai has Kaguya use a calming ritual by touching her hand to her cheek. He also believes the manga is more about providing the reader with something exciting and conveying meaningful messages about human relationships rather than to showcase a number of character gags and reactions.Meanwhile, Kaguya, who collapsed after seeing the election results, worries whether she will be picked for the student council. Akasaka said that Miyuki and Kaguya's becoming third-year students marks the second half of the story. Kaguya-sama: Love is War started out as a manga with a specific premise: two high school geniuses, Shirogane and Kaguya, can’t admit they’re in love, so each tries to win a confession of affection from the other. As interesting and creative the story may start, it deteriorates into generic and even boring repetition of standard manga romcom. When he's not working, Jack is playing PlayStation 5, working on his sci-fi novel at a cafe, or planning his next backpacking trip.

A flashback chapter shows Miyuki as a first-year being recruited to the student council and meeting Kaguya for the first time. There are several extra chapters not included in the volume release, such as Kaguya Wants to be Confessed to Darkness.Maki went along to help the boyfriend, but she harbors feelings for him and vents about it to Miyuki and Yu.
