I read it because I had never come across a series where the innocent virgin heroine goes Debbie Does Dallas when the slutty hero breaks up with her. 😂 The length of this book is like watching a soap, but it is needed to see the growth of the characters. Everyone grows in this book and I loved that. Nobody is innocent and nobody walks away without hurting someone. But that is life and it was great reading it. Like I said, this book is more on the sexual discovery of Abbi, which I was really excited about. She really let go and found out things about her that she never knew she was into. Good for her because god knows she deserved to let her hair down. However, the circumstances leading to her sowing her oats? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I myself am not religious nor is my family .. but do we make other people feel bad for having their own beliefs and name call them and say. I say, go in this with an open mind knowing it’s an erotic genre. I personally enjoyed it - downright delicious, sinful, fun and entertaining. Thanks for the treat!

I could understand why Abbi's naivety would be alluring to him, but I had to wonder why he continued to pursue her, pushing her faith and values. He was every bit a wolf prowling for his prey. Abbi catches her fiance cheating on her. After spending the remaining months of the school year having him flaunt his new relationship in her face and her family pushing her to forgive him, Abbi decides to take a job in Alaska for the summer. She hopes this is going to be a tie to figure out who she is and what she wants, as she clings to her Christian faith. But as soon as she sets foot on the Wolf Resort things do not go as Abbi plans. And when she catches the eye of owner Henry Wolf her world is opened up to much more than she thought.The spice was pretty good at first, and then got great!! I loved that the FMC’s (Abby) character was an innocent church going farm girl who, after being cheated on, threw her arms in the air and said “screw it” to always doing what’s considered right by her narrow minded community and decided to do what her ex was doing- explore her sexuality. This premise produced some pretty spicy scenes especially with her more than willing MMC (Henry) who catered to her sexual growth.

Bottom line - it wasn’t for me because there was more smut than plot and that gets old after the 10th open door bedroom scene. I love romance just as much as the next person but when 70% of your book is graphic sex scenes it doesn’t leave room for character development or moving along the plot - which I prefer.
