About this deal

Cadbury Dairy Milk Easter Peter Rabbit Bunny (50g)* – this item has a MAY CONTAIN warning for Nuts and Wheat

From the chocolate gurus at Bad Brownie, this is a real treat and more of a dessert for sharing rather than an “all the chocolate you can eat on your own” challenge. It’s a giant golden hazelnut brownie in the shape of an egg, inspired by Ferrero Rocher. I’m very specific in this post when I reference which eggs are gluten-free and safe to eat. So please don’t assume that, just because you’ve seen one egg from a particular brand in this post, that every egg by the same brand is also gluten-free. There’s a Cadbury’s Caramel Egg in this post that’s gluten-free. BUT other Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Caramel eggs (which come with a bar and have the extra text ‘Dairy Milk’ on the front) are NOT gluten-free. There’s a small Milkybar Easter egg in this post that’s gluten-free. However, many other Milkybar eggs in other sizes are often NOT gluten-free. I love dark chocolate, and Bourneville is always a favourite. Plus I think I read somewhere once that a square of dark chocolate a day is good for you, so I can get on board with that!As I mentioned, most of these are down the seasonal Easter aisle so it can be a literal Easter egg hunt to find the right ones. So make sure you allow yourself enough time to make sure you’ve got the ones pictured which are safe for us to eat.

verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{ Is Bourneville gluten free? Well, Bourneville does have a May Contain warning for wheat, so if you are super sensitive you may be best avoiding. If you are happy to eat May Contain’s however, you can choose from: I was pleasantly surprised with the gluten free easter egg options in Lidl. They actually had quite a lot in comparison to Aldi. The classic, ultimate, inimitable Cadbury Dairy Milk doesn’t directly contain gluten, however usually carries a “May Contain” warning for wheat – this is due to the fact that Dairy Milk is normally manufactured in a factory that makes other products that contain gluten, such as Oreos which are NOT gluten free. If you are happy to eat May Contain products, you’ve got a whole wealth of gluten free easter eggs and treats to choose from, including: Generally, most of these eggs are found in the seasonal aisle of supermarkets, but you will often find the gluten-free and dairy-free eggs down the free from aisle. As always Asda has a good selection of Easter options this year. They have lots of variety in terms of branded Easter Eggs and equally their free from range is definitely one of the better ones. Morrisons had a good selection of branded Easter eggs but disappointingly most of their own brand Easter eggs this year are may contain or contain gluten. In Waitrose, you’ll find a few exclusive own-brand eggs that more than make it worth the trip over, but watch out as there are lots of own brand ones that do contain gluten or have may contains too.

This is one for the chocolate connoisseurs out there. Pierre Marcolini eggs are really rather egg-ceptional but as you’d expect from a specialist chocolatier, you will pay a bit more for these egg-stravagant treats. Everyone loves these crunchie treats – for me they’re a favourite balanced on top of some chocolate cornflake cakes , but then I am a small child at heart! Do Cadbury mini eggs have gluten in them? Cadbury Mini Eggs are non-gluten containing, so you can choose from: Ocado always has a good selection of Easter eggs, many of which are gluten free. They also have a good selection of dairy free including some more luxurious eggs from the like of Booja booja that you would not find in supermarkets. These small eggs are topped with a light, airy praline with puffed rice, enhanced with a pinch of Maldon sea salt. It’s a retro recipe available in 3 versions: dark, milk and white chocolate.

Caramel bars have always been one of my favourite chocolate bars, but are the Cadburys Caramel eggs gluten free? Thankfully, these ones contain no gluten containing ingredients, bar the large one, which is a may contain. Are Cadbury Creme Eggs gluten free? Thankfully both the normal Cadbury Creme Egg and Creme Egg Twisted are non-gluten containing meaning you have a choice of:
