About this deal

Venum boxing gloves are made in Thailand where manufacturing started in 2010 and in just a few years from set up, this country became the biggest exporter and manufacturer of boxing gloves and combat sports equipment in the world thanks to the Venum brand. Venum Boxing Gloves vs Hayabusa Boxing Gloves While these gloves are low cost and perfect for a beginner training one-two times per week, they are one of Venum’s oldest gloves and are made with inexpensive materials. Wrist support could be better: All of the gloves reviewed today (apart from the Giant 3.0’s lace-up) have great velcro but the downside to all of the gloves are the bendy wrists.

What would make these gloves even better is a leather outer material but this would increase the price dramatically. The Venum Challenger 3.0 Boxing Gloves are great in comparison to the more expensive Venum gloves because they have similar features. Mesh panel: A mesh panel is a better thermal regulator than the common perforated palm regulator meaning you’ll find these gloves don’t heat up your hands. Design: I like how Venum has designed these gloves with the choice of colours as well as a signature embossed Venum logo which has become so popular due to their brand ambassadors. Nice design: I like the design of these Challenger 2.0’s because of the large imprinted logo and white shapes which almost look like boat sails if you look closely.Velcro or lace-up option: You can choose whether you want lace-up or velcro with these gloves. Lace-up gloves are better for sparring and competition due to greater wrist support whereas velcro is better for pad/bag training due to ease of use.

If you’re looking to train regularly or train for a long period of time and you want a pair of gloves which will last a long time and protect your hands in turn, then these gloves are for you. Prevents broken thumbs: The 100% full attached thumb means you can protect your thumb and your opponent’s eye (as non-attached thumbs can poke another fighter’s eye). I’m not a massive fan of the Training Camps due to their price and if you’re looking for a glove with both a great price and quality for your training, I’d recommend getting the Venum Unisex Adult Elite Boxing Glove. Overall, these are a great pair of boxing gloves because they will protect your hands well and you’ll be able to save on the reduced cost. The Venum Gladiator 3.0 Boxing Glove not only looks cool but are made from the very durable semi-aniline leather.

VENUM's rich understanding of a UFC fighter’s unique needs during training and competition will be present throughout the entire product line, including the Fight Week apparel and Fight Kit. Step 2) With your spray bottle and mixture, spray lightly (avoid over-soaking your gloves) into the inner hand-compartment and then wipe dry with your towel. I find that the wrist compartment bends quite easily so you’ll need a good pair of hand wraps which we’ve covered on this review here.

Let's chat about Venum's fight and Muay Thai shorts. Starting with their fight shorts, these are a dream for anyone into No Gi BJJ, MMA and martial arts. Made with 100% lightweight polyester, they're all about helping you move freely and upping your game. They're tough too, with reinforced seams that mean they're in it for the long haul. Plus, the smart closure system keeps them snug and in place, no matter how intense the fight gets. And when things heat up? No sweat – literally. Thanks to fast-dry microfibers and mesh panels, these shorts keep you cool and comfortable. Note: Avoid placing your gloves under direct sunlight or on top of a radiator because this can damage the material. Alright, let's dive into the world of Venum boxing gloves. Their gloves are handcrafted with a classic touch, designed to withstand the toughest of fights. These aren't just any gloves; they're made from top-notch Argentinian Nappa leather. This means they're not only durable but also breathable, keeping your hands cool under pressure. And the lifespan? Impressive. Venum gloves are built like tanks, featuring multi-layered polyester foams.

Step 6) Insert your No Stink glove deodoriser and let it sit here until you’re ready to use your gloves again. Expensive: The Gladiator 3.0s are less expensive than the Giant 3.0s we’ve reviewed above, but the gloves are still up there close to the hundred pound/dollar mark. Innovative mesh: Offers a nice cool feeling to your hands as it thermo-regulates the glove which helps prevent overheating and odour. Nappa leather: This is a premium leather material which you will find amongst the best boxing gloves. Nappa leather is also used in high-end sports cars due to its anti-scratch/tear resistance. Such cars include the Bentley Continental GT as well as the McLaren F1. Venum Unisex Sharp Boxing Gloves not only make you look sharp in the ring, but they also last a long time thanks to their real Nappa leather which is commonly used in sports car seats.

Wrist support: The wrist compartment is very flexible (despite the large velcro wrist) meaning you need to get a good pair of hand wraps with the gloves if you don’t already have a pair. Known to tear: These Contender 2.0’s can tear/rip with lots of use. People online have said the 2.0’s have torn within a month. However, most people have found no problem with durability. Triple density foam padding: These Challenger 3.0’s have the exact same foam padding as the first pair of gloves rated on this list and they have half the price! While I own this glove and use it regularly, my wrists sometimes feel sore after 12-rounds on the heavy bag because the wrist compartment isn’t completely stable. Ventilation system: Allows these gloves to breathe which will help prevent your hands from overheating.

About us

You've probably seen Venum's gear in action – their t-shirts, fight shorts, MMA gloves, Boxing gloves and even footwear are a common sight in the ring, worn by current champions and the next generation of fighters. If you buy a cheap Venum boxing glove such as the Contender 2.0, you’re going to get an injected foam glove with plastic material. This is why Venum is a great brand and why they have built a brilliant reputation with the whole fight community. Compact fit: With the Training Camps wide velcro enclosure and triple density foam, these gloves are able to take some impact which in turn provides hand and wrist protection. I would like to see an additional layer of foam which other boxing brands (such as Hayabusa) have created.
