I've not read that about 2 wheels mind you, but just thinking about how they could argue over 1 food bowl, and the way to avoid that is to have 2 bowls or (better still) scatter feed.

Some prefer enclosed wheels (like the Silent Runner) while others seem to have other preferences in material or placement in their cage. My belief is that if you use common sense with this wheel it can be safely used, just watch out for curved spines or flying hamsters! If your hamster stops running suddenly or trips the distance to the top of the wheel is longer on a bigger wheel- this means they are less likely to have dramatic falls on a big wheel. It also comes with an option cord adhesive to avoid sliding, plus you can choose what height you want to put it at!
