Instrument separation isn't great though and this hurts imaging when listening to more complex pieces with several different instrument classes. The Spring Tips run slightly smaller so I have the size L tip with the black bore used alongside the size M of the more generic silicone tips. The white metal body of the Aria SE stays 3-4°C below the surrounding temperature and gives a cool/relaxed feeling to my ears which gets hot quite a lot. Anybody who wants a pair of IEMs for not a lot of money, or if you want a travel friendly set of wired buds should consider the Moondrop Aria.

Unfortunately, another thing common here to the previous Aria is that the textured snowflake design is still a paint coating, susceptible to chipping when exposed to more humid and hot conditions. Tonal balance is of an inversed L shape to me, where both bass and mids feel a bit lean and softed in attack edge while whole treble follow a slight lift and extend far to add sens of air and openess. The metal cavity made by complex processing is in line with the ergonomics and takes into account aesthetic design. dual-cavity internal magnet high performance driver combine with the first generation DLC composite diaphragm, delivering high quality rich details and crystal pure timbre. The sound nozzle has a slightly angled profile that features a metal mesh on the top to avoid the insertion of small particles like dust or earwax in to the monitors shell.If you want to use the Aria with a device that doesn’t have an analog output or headphone jack, you’ll need some sort of DAC or a headphone amplifier. Don't get me wrong here, Moondrop Aria has a good bass texture and rumble, and not to mention, it doesn't get bloated to the point where it overwhelms the midrange/vocal. Unboxing it will reveal IEM itself,two types of eartips,the grey colored and three sizes of Spring Tips,a small carrying pouch and also the cable. The SE215 has a bit less overall treble than the Aria, but sounds pretty similar from the bass into the mids. The Moondrop Aria Snow Edition has a fairy linear bass response from the subbass up to the midbass area.

The SNOW is more neutral and refined, with greater sens of transparency and clarity as well as notably less boosted bass. The Snow have mature audiophile tonality, focusing on sens of clarity and attack snap, that avoid to be plain boring or dull by adding a hint of punchyness to it’s mid bass and alot of snap energy and treble intrigue. Folks dipping their toes into audiophile style earbuds who want nice sound, but don’t want to shell out large sums of cash should check out the Moondrop Aria. Several of their highly regarded IEMs, like Blessing 2, Kato, and KXXS, among others, have the VDSF target response design.This sound signature works for most music listeners who like switching between various music genres like Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Folk and Pop. Mid/Vocals​Moondrop Aria really excels in this department, especially when it comes to female vocals. As with the intended tuning, there are no metallic timbre and in the opposite, it sounded very natural to my ears due to cymbals and not apparent 8khz gain in the tuning, it makes things sounded super natural and organic compare to cheaper single DD sets from KZ/TRN/QKZ. Outstanding electroacoustic performance is achieved by the DLC diaphragm composite material's high rigidity, excellent damping, and lightweight.

The original Aria released in the year 2017,which sports completely different design,i have also reviewed the 2021 Aria and they were good,technicalities and everything else,but the tuning was just too “safe” to many other people including me. I would classify this sound signature as fairly balanced, leaning towards being slightly bright, and it's one case of measurements not telling the whole story.

Compared to the other seven single DD competitors mentioned above, little Snow White do not dwarf the competition, as they are not the last word in technicalities.
