The size is very impressive, and imposing, but you can’t make it look down. It only turns its head around. Another missed opportunity. No ab crunch, so it can’t even appear to look down. The electronic Sentinel figure looks wonderfully classic in its purple and pink color scheme, and features sounds and phrases when you press his chest. I don’t believe Hasbro has confirmed the height on the Sentinel, but we can tell from the scale photos with Logan that it’s clearly over 12” tall. We also included LEDs in the head and chest, so that the menacing glow of the Sentinels eyes and power source really shines through. It also comes with a Sentinel “tentacle” accessory, which attaches to its palm and is perfect to wrap around an unsuspecting Marvel Legends X-Men figure. At this kind of discount, I’ve got a hunch this may be the day this set sells out for good! If you want this set–now is the time! This seems like a lot of articulation—and it can definitely achieve the kneeling pose from the Tri-Sentinel variant cover—but I also had some fights trying to get him to pose how I wanted and get him to actually stand up. The shoulder articulation is surprisingly difficult to work with, and the thin legs and small feet making balancing this top-heavy machine a real chore.
