About this deal

I don't think that the rip was due in any way to the design of the tent, or the quality of materials. However, I did take it out in December once in sub zero temperatures where one of the rubber washers on an air valve developed micro fractures that let the air out. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. With an easy setup that takes a few minutes, and a spring-loaded release valve that deflates the shelter in seconds, it won’t add much to your set-up or take down time, so you can focus on enjoying the outdoors.

Otherwise, the internal features that others have described are well thought-out so I won't repeat what has already been said. Withstood wind no problem though horizontal wind and rain might be a problem, the top of the porch area is mesh with another layer of tent material above and on the earlier model apparently the rain could be driven in between and it leaked a bit, the newer model has a small lip to stop this (hopefully).

The instruction manual says allow to cool for 5 minutes after every 5 mins of continuous running, now my caravan awning has less airbeam volume than many tents and takes 10-12 mins on the Gale pump, which maybe indicates that this pump would take perhaps 20-25 mins in multiple sessions between cooling intervals to inflate a tent, maybe longer, as my Gale pump is purposely designed to provide both volume and pressure! There is plenty of room for a cooking are on one side, and a table and chairs the other, with large windows at either side. We certainly have no regrets with purchasing this tent, and our family will continue to give it a good hammering throughout the coming season (whichever one that may be).

The key selling point is that it is a doddle to put up and take down - I think I could even put it up on my own. Once we had got our head round the instructions and watched Aebbee's great video (see above) we were stunned how quickly we managed to get the tent up - even including me getting the buttons wrong and deflating the air beam as I removed the pump! The two 'bedrooms' are each just big enough for a double airbed and are separated by a hanging sheet.Blowing the air ribs up (5 of them) is simple, just attach the supplied pump, push it up and down a few times whilst watching the pressure gauge and that’s it. There is another large window on the opposite side, we noticed how remarkably clear the windows were compared to other brands we'd seen. SIMPLE TO USE - This stirrup pump is easy to use with a two-way action that required no batteries or mains power. The tent is a single unified component – the bedrooms and living space are pre-attached to the framework so there is no additional connecting or construction needed once you’ve blown up the tent. In place of traditional metal, fibreglass or plastic poles traditional poles, the tent has inflatable beams, which can be pumped up to provide a sturdy structure.
