About this deal

Pasha opens on a lemony-minty-tarry green note with loads of lavender to go. Initially a little tart and pungent, just for a minute maybe. Then it immediately starts to get smooth and dry, as you get whiffs of the coriander and oakmoss. It gets into the woody-spicy zone for a bit..still very dry but airy and breezy in a way. The initial citrus blast now toned down to just a subtle veil around the lavender & coriander. It's really beautiful to sense these stages go by. Very refined and mature. No theatrics whatsoever. And as the hours go by you can suddenly get wafts of creamy-dusty sandalwood and you know you have arrived. this stuff is great! it comes with something from the original, the good pasha edt, with something more. it's dense, rich, classy and uber masculine. the opening is a bit boozy, the drydown is sweet but not in a teeny or offensive way. amber, vanilla, tonka bean and saldalwood perfectly blended. i love that the smell becames more rounded, nicer and alluring during the hours. strong without being pushy, pasha edp requires personality and masculinity, nothing unisex or teenage here. few notes of the drydown reminds me a bit gaultier2, with that "creme brulèe" taste; but pasha is more gentle and sophisticated than gaultier2 in my opinion. this edp is definitely for fall and winter, for 30 and up, for casual and formal situations, not for something funny or sporty. performance is good, moderate projection and very good longevity, about 8-9 hours on my skin. this fragrance is one of the best of the last 3-4 years, worth the hype! The middle&base stage is truly gorgeous, and after 10 minutes this stays fairly consistent, and only tones down with time. The blending of dry sandalwood, sweet benzoin&tonka, polite patchouli, and tame labdanum (I've smelled much more funky labdanum fragrances) is truly classy. This comes off as wonderfully tasteful, without being pretentious at all. It's warm, inviting beautiful. None of the elements rise up as more noticeable than the others, the effect is blended and *smooth*. It's only mildly boozy, not at all heady or overwhelming.

Been wearing Pasha a fair bit lately as a work fragrance. Steven from Redolessence said in his review that Pasha is somewhat of an old school powerhouse and is super masculine and I don't get quite that vibe. Its definitely masculine smelling (and not unisex), but it doesn't scream old school masculine or powerhouse like something of a Kouros, Lapidus pH or a Drakkar Noir. Its possibly my new bottle, but Pasha is relatively tame; I don't get wild projection out of it and the scent to me feels sophisticated, gentlemanly, clean and fresh. It carries a similar smell to my bottle of Tsar but without the green feel. I think its the sweet lavender and the oakmoss that make them smell similar. The Pasha's extraordinary crown guard has never undergone any changes and remains a vital part of every timepiece. However, the popular crystal grid only appears on certain models, making them particularly coveted among collectors. The Pasha collection also includes women's models, such as the Miss Pasha and Pasha C, and chronographs like the Pasha Seatimer Chronograph with an automatic caliber and water resistance to 100 m (10 bar, 328 ft). Like several previous reviewers have noticed, the note listing makes little sense. There's a cardamomy lavender bomb in the opening, followed by a tonka bomb (wgat some describe as liquor, I guess?), and that will end with... yes, unfortunately... you got it: eau-de-macy's amberwood (and still some cardamom that shows up). Sandalwood? Yes, with a bit of imagination, but it's very subtle, and only in the late drydown, combined as a note supporting the labdanum, that will give a slightly green/animalic twist. The bottle speaks the concept. It looks and feels luxurious, worthy to be worn by a pasha. The smell is what a Pasha should smell like: wealth, confidence, and power. If fragrances are geometrical shapes this is a circular shape not a square, it's well-blended, aromatic, no sharp edges, very refined and smooth. It's spicy and a bit sweet; soapy in the most positive meaning of the word. It isn't Oriental but isn't pure Western also, a Pasha is a hybrid species, since the Ottoman empire was on the crossroad between the east and the west. I can't describe it but it's love at first sight. Comments below do a great job breaking the notes, but I don't care much about it here, it smells great and performs great for me too, and that's all I care for and I haven't paid much for it, compared to other brands I got it for a great price. I can't stop thinking of the inside of a World Market, but I know that's not it. It reminds me that one of the oldest flavors for hookah is anise. It makes me think, with some finesse, this could bring to mind images of Indiana Jones lounging in a Moroccan bazaar, sipping mint tea and reading a newspaper. Projection : 9/10 ... projected heavily for the first 4 hours before it started sitting closer to the skin. It was beyond the 12 hour mark before it became a true skin scent. Not necessarily a safe blind buy, in my opinion, it can come off as dull, too musky or not sweet enough for some. Silage is great and so is longevity. It lasts with meaningful silage for 4-5 hours, fantastic, but on my skin it lasted as a faint skin scent almost for more than 20 hours, I know because I applied it in the evening and I kept sniffing my arm the next evening without applying anything else.

Strong without being pushy it requires personality and masculinity, not really unisex or for teenagers. It dries down relatively linear and the most important change is the development of a soft powdery tone, which amber is known for and the softening of the somewhat animalic accord. Very good initial projection, in the opening I sense multiple notes but the most prominent is a combi of a very sweet tonka bean and liquor. Projection/Sillage: Good, projects at arms range, leaves a wafting cloud for several hours (half a day at least) before turning to a skin scent. It isn't "loud", as per its accords, nonetheless it is very present. It bewitched me in a way I was enchanted. And seduced me so that I feel ultimately relaxed. Because it warmed and heating up extremely, as to release vaguely balsamic resin fumes.pasha edp è un profumo magnifico. ha qualcosa dell'originale più qualcosa di nuovo, note di rum, legni di sandalo, vaniglia e fave tonka perfettamente combinate. dolce senza essere stucchevole. pasha edp è intenso, virile e sofisticato. I am not sure how 'mossy' Pasha is in 2020, but formulations from about five years ago when I last wore this scent were OK. Pasha is not a projection monster or as long-lasting as one might expect of modern day ambrox chemical bomb, but long lasting and acceptable enough for the average working day. It's not a skin scent by any means.

This is certainly not just another boring and forgettable designer release. This is something captivating. The sandalwood and fir tree notes gives it an earthy slightly fresh spiciness that grounds it and makes it feel masculine and robust yet it’s beautifully balanced with a boozy and ambery sweetness. It takes that barbershop DNA of the original and makes it more contemporary and wearable for the modern man. It shares some similarities to Savauge Elixir. Not at all in scent profile; but in the sense of combining old school with new school to create something which feels masculine but also unique. As I have discovered this is also a pleasure to wear unlike many designer fragrances that smell good on someone else but are unbearable to wear longer than a few hours. I’d argue this works better for a man 30+ but if you carry yourself well 20+ could wear this no problem. You could dress this up and would work well as an every day work scent. Mind you I wouldn’t wear this in the summer.Giorgio Armani Code Profumo EDP is a very good, intense, sweet, tonka, leather, spicy cardamom, and nutmeg fragrance. I suspect that this EDT has a high percentage of natural essential oil as it has an addicting and pleasing effect (unlike synthetic perfumes).
