It's just a really pleasant, casually elegant scent, and I've found myself reaching for it a lot in this hot weather. Launched in the UK in 1971 (and still based in London today) by Caroline Burstein and Michael Collis, Molton Brown is best known for its iconic bath products.

On my (female, dry, fragrance eating) skin, this was reminiscent of Terre d'Hermes with lemon instead of orange, and a moderate dose of vetiver.

It's not naturalistic, but nor is it as old-fashioned and perfume-y as say, the original Aqua di Colonia. This citrus fragrance isn’t fresh and juicy like you would expect a summer citrus fragrance to be like. Stunningly good fragrance lime citrus fresh combination reminds me of how the old school aramis tuscany used to smell.

The dry-down is well worth the wait, with oakmoss, sandalwood, labdanum, cedar and osmanthus adding a sense of mystery.
