About this deal

These can either be a life saver or worthless, if you don’t know how caster heavy your opponent is. Probably too niche to really recommend. D Army Ability: Malicious Tormentors –Reroll hit rolls of 1 for Spite-Revenants, who are a cheap fodder option. You only get one lore but it’s filled with fantastic buff spells that would make many other armies generous. Often the challenge is having enough Wizards to cast what you’d like. Lore of the Deepwood May not seem exciting but the ability to fly is often underrated, especially for your more delicate characters C+ Recently, Kurnoth hunters have taken a bit of a staring role as more elite infantry and being able to reroll all hits with no limitations is pretty nice, especially when greatswords are combined with the command ability.

The Amulet of destiny now gives its bearer a ward of 6+ instead of 5+. This is pretty huge though not unexpected since this generic artefact became the go-to for just about every single army. It’s still a good artefact to take with the number of mortal wounds flying around but is now going to be more of a choice and a toss-up when putting your army together. Battleplan: The Trap I think the biggest change here is coalition wizards no longer gain Tzeentch spells. Which will really force you to stay in the book for anything meaningful. Hedonites of Slaanesh

Regiment of Renown

Like many armies in Age of Sigmar, getting the charge is important. This is helpful for your warrior characters like Treelord Ancient, especially in Harvestboon. B- She twisted her claw-like fingers, snapping the creature’s spine, and flung its corpse away. It tumbled down the bank, landing amongst a pile of its wretched kin. Legend tells of the everbeast Fengarant, and of how that colossus found himself one day with Eagderethil – the father of bladewillows – stabbed like a thorn into his paw. Tribal myths across the plains tell one version of this tale or another, but all agree that, in his efforts to rid himself of Eagderethil, Fengarant trampled a mad path across the Thunderlands and beyond. Finally, the everbeast stamped upon the land so hard that the ground itself ruptured and a titanic valley was formed. Into the heart of this rift, Eagderethil was driven and finally freed of the monster’s foot. That expanse, known as Vastclaw Valley, remains to this day. [3b] Similar to Dread Harvester, this is a great combo with Harvestboon, who really want that early charge. B Branchwraith - Deepwood Scout - Dryad - Eternal Guard - Falconer - Glade Guard - Glade Lord - Glade Rider - Great Eagle - Shapechanger - Sister of the Thorn - Spellsinger - Spellweaver - Tree Kin - Treeman - Treeman Ancient - Wain Lord - Wardancer - Warhawk Rider - Warrior Kinband - Waystalker - Waywatcher - Wild Rider - Wildwood Rangers - Wood Elf Beastmaster - Wood Elf Noble

A very popular take because all of your Heroes (Except for Aladrielle) can only cast one spell. It doesn’t give you another spell but it’s a chance to get an endless spell or Mystic shield off. B+

Warscroll Battalion

Heartwood Glade: Worshipers of the god Kurnoth, who they consider Alarielle's consort, and unsurprisingly the first to welcome Kurnoth Hunters. [4b]

There aren’t any rule changes directly, other than losing Lords of the Ossiarch Empire , which let you add Arkhan and Nagash despite not having the Ossiarch Bonereapers keyword on their warscroll. During the first years of the alliance between the forest and the elves she spent much of her time watching the elves for signs of treachery or betrayal. [1b]Free Spirits are powerful warriors whose unquestioning obedience to Alarielle makes them important agents of the goddess in her fight to reclaim her lands in the Mortal Realms. They speak with the authority of the goddess. [4b]
