This is the bigger brother of the Juiceboom 360 we recently reviewed. The Juiceboom Pro is a cylindrical, ruggedised design that has a fabric material that goes around the whole speaker. On each end of this speaker you have rubber end caps that are shaped to allow you to stand this speaker up.

The Juice Boom Pro XL Wireless Speaker has been specifically designed to provide an amazing rich powerful sound. Built into the Juice Boom Pro XL are 2 x 10 Watt Speakers which provides you with a premium audio experience wherever you are. The on-body Juice control panel allows you to play, pause and alter the volume of your music, so need to reach for your device. The Juice Bass Speaker performs quite well considering the cost. It has a nice balanced sound without any significant distortions when listening to music. It offered a nice level of bass without feeling overbearing due to the use of the subwoofer. So overall, would I buy this speaker? I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach.

I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker.

Apart from that if you want a speaker for your staycation on a budget price give the JuiceboomPro a try!When reviewing this speaker I noticed its very similar design to another outdoor speaker I reviewed a few months ago the JBL Flip 4. The fact it comes with IPX5 means it can even handle the odd pool splash if you’re using it by the outdoor pool we all got in that heatwave. I would have preferred some colour choices in the speaker but that might come in time. I would have also liked to have been able to connect to a second speaker for that stereo sound. No doubt once everyone is feeling the vibes of the Party Pro XL you'll get a chance to use the included microphone – perfect for that late night Karaoke. C'mon you know you want to! with the on-body Juice control panel, take charge of proceedings; making sure that the 30W speaker is pumping out premium bangers with premium quality audio. Don't forget you can wirelessly pair two of these together if you fancy a mini festival in the garden.
