Awful Truth: Giraud's opinion of what he finds. Of course, most of the truth he initially finds is seen in the main games and/or well-known by fans who've also read the books and other EU works, but it's completely hidden from civilians, so that they can see the Chief as a heroic Captain America-type. That said, some things are completely new, particularly in the later episodes. With bravery and chutzpah, a husband and wife demonstrate that there’s no moral compromise with history." — Kirkus

In fact, I preferred the eastern zone. It was so dark and poor, but I was drawn by its unknown past. In the course of those dreamy wanderings, I belatedly forged the surprising certainty that my country was united. I was solitary, but my roots clung deeply to German soil. It's well into the second half, after Maya finds Torres, that the story takes on a weird twist (maybe). At this point, all the details surrounding the primary storyline become clear and the ending comes pretty fast after that with a scary and dangerous ending for Maya and the gang. The ending provides a lead-in to the next installment, I think (I hope), which could make for an interesting read. When you finally found the settlement of Prodromos on Eos after activating the monoliths and exploring the remnant vault you'll be given a fairly significant choice: if you wish to make the settlement one dedicated to science, or if you want to make it into a military outpost. This was another really good read in the series. A good mystery until the very end! Highly recommend the read😊 This inspiring memoir of persistence and staying true to one’s beliefs will remind all readers that although it may be slow, justice will triumph.” — Library JournalAfter new DNA evidence surfaces, both her beloved grandfather and Josh warn her away from the case, suspecting that she could be the next victim. But Maya doesn’t listen. That being said, their joint memoir is a rather uneven work. It is told in alternating sections, so you get the viewpoints of both. Some sections, particularly in the early part of the book, make for great reading, as their activities are told in great detail. The later sections were less interesting, with many short chapters reciting efforts directed at individual former Nazis, without a lot of detail. The descriptions of legal proceedings, some civil, some criminal, some seemingly a hybrid, are confusing. I would have liked to read more about their lives in later years and more about their remarkable son Arno. At several points it occurred to me that the inspiring story of their lives might have been better told by a third party. If you have the other three pathfinders, they will work to save Captain Dunn. This requires three pathfinders - you will always have a Salarian pathfinder (though who can change), but the Turian pathfinder must be Avitus via the choice above and for there to be an Asari pathfinder you must have completed Cora's loyalty mission, also listed above - it can be either of the two, but if it is Sarissa she must not have been disgraced.

HUNT the TRUTH

They have been sent to prison for their beliefs and have risked their lives protesting anti-Semitism behind the Iron Curtain in South America and in the Middle East. They have been insulted and exalted, assaulted and heralded; they’ve received honors from presidents and letter bombs from neo-Nazis. Myth! When American hunters were asked to choose their single, most important reason for hunting, 39% said they hunt for meat, 27% hunt for the sport or recreation, 18% hunt to be with family and friends, 11% hunt to be close to nature and 1% hunt for a trophy. This information came from a 2017 Responsive Management study. Additionally, regardless of their motivation, wasting game meat is illegal, and states have strict laws against it. In most instances, people can’t legally shoot an animal for its horns or antlers and leave the meat behind. However, while there has been plenty of publicity surrounding illegal hunting, the implications for related insurance products have gone largely under the radar. Not one wildlife species in the U.S. has become endangered or extinct from hunting since laws and regulationswere established. These laws are enforced by conservation officers, aka game wardens. Today, hunters must follow local, state and federal laws regarding season dates, shooting times, harvest limits, weapon restrictions and more. These regulations change based on research and science to ensure wildlife populations are healthy and sustainable. Violators of the regulations are called poachersand should be reported.

Paranoia Fuel: In-universe one: ONI has enough power to target anyone you've spoken to and make them disappear. They can drug you on flights, withdraw your money, cut off the Internet because you spoke out of line...and even completely destroy the apartment you live in, and condemn the whole building. When Chasing Justice came out last year, I was hoping it would turn into a series since Maya, Juniper, and Josh’s story was compelling, but I felt like there was more to learn… and I wanted to know more. So, I was very glad to discover Hunting the Truth. I will strongly suggest reading Chasing Justice first if you have not already, for the second story will give some spoilers for the first one, so be aware of that possibility even though each is a stand-alone story with a thread woven through them that connects. If that doesn’t matter to you, then dive in for an intense mystery/romantic suspense with more than a few twists and turns. This week, F&S hunting editor, Will Brantley, explains the virtues of hunting public land, the importance of the squirrel rut, how to get accurate broadhead flight from a high-speed crossbow, and much more.
